Personality: Robert is a very respectful and responsible young boy who always makes sure his pokemon needs are taken care of before him. He is determined and takes his pokemon training seriously. As well as being dependable and there for his friends and family. He is also very sharp for someone his age and thinks things through before attacking in a battle.

Outfit:

Likes: Pokemon battles, reading, pokemon training, his friends, his family, drinking tea, camping, and gazing at the stars before bed.

Dislikes: Pokemon hunters pokemon abuses, pokemon abandonment, poachers, overly sweet food, people not taking training seriously, or finding training pokemon a waste of time.

Goal: To become a member of the Elite Four

Since Summer break just started I decided to bring out an new story  and there will be an second one coming. However don't worry I plan to continue updating and completing my current stories and been making an update schedule for the summer.

This is a look at the main travel group of the story starting with the main character of the story. At the moment it an small group I probably add Robert girlfriend once I decide on them I know it won't be his best friend and I might add an another Oc to the group.

Chapter Text

It was a beautiful day in Littleroot Town in the Hoenn Region, we saw a beautiful house with a grey roof and plants hanging above the windows. Inside the house in a room with posters of Pokemon hanging on the wall, we see a young boy with blonde hair that reaches his ears sitting on an armchair that resembles a mudkip He was wearing a black shirt and grey shorts. This boy was a seven-year-old boy named Robert Stoppable.

He was currently reading an old about an ancient legend of a guy named Sir Aaron, who was referred to as a legend in the Kanto Region. It was one of his favorite legends and a story his father used to tell him every night before bed until he started reading a new story to him at night.

"Robert!" A male voice called out from downstairs.

"I'm coming!" Robert called back, standing up and placing his book down on the chair, and walking towards the door to head on downstairs.

As he arrived downstairs, he saw his father Fredrick Stoppable standing near the front door with with small pink cat known as Skitty nuzzling against his leg. As well as well as in his left arm was a two year old girl with short ginger hair .

"Yes Willow is here," Frederick said moving out of the way of the door revealing a 7-year-old girl with pink twin braided her down to her neck. "She wants you to come out and play," He said.

"Hi Willow," Robert said.

"You two go play just be careful and don't go too far we call when it lunch lunchtime," Fredrick said.

"We promise to stay close beside I'm sure Skitty will keep an eye on us," Robert said as he walked out of the house with Willow and Skitty following them.

The two kids were now playing happily outside chasing each other in a game of tag while Skitty lay against a tree watching them play.

"You won't get me Robby," Willow said laughing.

"Oh we see about that Willow," Robert said laughing as he ran after Willow and jumped onto her knocking her to the ground."I got you," He said.

"Nice one Robby," Willow said laughing.

The two kids were about to play another round of tag when they heard a cry.

"What was that?" Willow called out as she sat up before it was heard again.

"Let's check it out," Robert said as he and Willow ran towards the source along with Skitty following them.

What they found shocked them I was a Pokémon being attacked by wild Taillow.

It was a small caterpillar Pokémon that body was dark purple with a cream underside and face. It has large yellow eyes with dark pupils and one sharp yellow stinger on its head and two of them on its rear. It has small spikes running down the top portions of its body and Five pairs of stubby white limbs.

Robert recognized the Pokémon immediately as his mother had one before it evolved.

'That's a Wurmple but it's a shiny one.' Robert thought as he watched the Taillow use Peck on the poor Pokémon.

"Let's do something," Willow said.

"Right Skity use Ice Beam!" Robert commanded as Skitty jumped up and fried a blue beam from her mouth towards the Taillow. The Taillow folk failed to dodge as they were hit by the beam and fell to the ground frozen.

Robert and Willow ran towards the Wurmple and checked on them. They noticed the Wurmple was unconscious and Robert picked it up immediately.

"We need to help it let's see go to Professor Birch's lab," Robert said as he and Willow started running towards Prof.Birch's Lab as Skitty ran beside them.

They arrived at Prof. Birch's lab and Robert knocked on the door. Soon the door is opened by a woman with long ginger hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a pink shirt and white pants. This was Georgia Stoppable the mother of Robert Stoppable.

"Robert, what are you doing here son?" She asked confused about why her son was there.

"We need help Mom and don't worry Father knows I'm outside he sent me to play with Willow," Robert replied as he held out Wurmple.

Georgia then noticed the Wurmple in her son's arms."Come inside," She said leading Robert and Willow inside of the lab.

As Georgia went to the back and began helping Wurmple as Robert and Willow sat down the looking down at ground.

"Hey no need to worry I'm sure Wurmple doing okay after all your mother great breeder and medic," A young man with tan skin green hair and blue eyes this was the assistant of Professor Birch.

"Joshua right everything will be okay," Willow said."Anyway I should get home for lunch see you around," She said standing up and heading out of the lab.

Soon Georgia came back with a bandage up Wurmple in her arms. "Robert everything going to be fine Wurmple is healing but will be a while they she regains consciousness," She said. "It's about time we head home and if it makes you feel better Wurmple will be staying with us to recover."

"I'm glad I don't want Wurmple to stay maybe we can be partners and she can help make my dream of becoming one the strongest Elite Four members who specializes in bug and poison type Pokémon, " Robert said carefully grabbing Wurmple.

"Still aiming for Elite Four and looks like you found your partner," Georgia said ruffling her son's hair as they both headed on home for lunch.

Here we go the prologue of The Unstoppable Journey of Becoming an Elite Four-Kanto Arc is published. Robert meets his partner Pokémon Katy the Wurmple and vows to become a member of the Elite Four who specializes in bug and poison type Pokémon. I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Fun Facts:

Her father was an former champion of Midton (a fan made region based Middleton in Kim Possible) before he moved to Hoenn after falling for Georgia.

Kim and Ron are both Five years older then Robert and live in the Midton region.

Robert middle name means Moon but only use by his parents.

Five years later...

It has been five years since Robert had rescued the shiny Wurmple who he nicknamed Katy and has been his partner since then.

Robert was now 12 years old meaning that he was now old enough to begin his journey as a Pokémon trainer with Katy and his best friend Willow Stardust.

Robert and Katy had spent the last five years training for their journey and she has fully evolved into a beautiful Dustox and has learned many great moves with the assistance of Fredrick Stoppable.

It is now the middle of the night, in Littleroot Town.

Robert Stoppable is seen inside of his bedroom with a shiny Dustox on his head while he sitting on the bed wearing red pajamas and watching a Pokemon battle on his TV.

The battle was between a Nidorino facing against a large fluffy elegant cat with peach and purple fur with a brown charm on its head and sliver bells floating around it.

"Wow look at that Midtoan Pereror the evolved form of Midtoan Meowth!" Robert said impressed by the Pokemon the feline line Pokemon he saw once when he visited his father's old home region.

"It seems Nidorino's trainer Bruno has switched it out and sent out Onix. However, what will Pereor's trainer Ducan from the Midton do now, and will he make it past Bruno in the champion league" The announcer said.

Robert leaned forward on his bed as he watched the match on the TV wondering what was going to happen next in the battle when the door swung open revealing his mother Georiga.

"Robert Nima Stoppable!" Georgia said sternly making Robert and Katy turn to face her in surprise.

"Why are you still up? You and Katy should be in bed you have to get up early to start your pokemon journey, you haven't forgotten?" His mother asked and Robert sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.

"My bad Mom but I was just so excited about my journey to Kanto and happy I'm finally old enough to be a licensed pokemon trainer," Robert replied grabbing a Pokeball off his nightstand and returning Katy to her Pokeball.

Georgia sighed."Well, go to sleep now, you don't want to be late for tomorrow," Georgia said.

Robert nodded and placed the Pokeball on his nightstand and got under the covers."Goodnight Mom," He said as he closed his eyes lifting off to sleep.

"Goodnight sweetie," Georgia said as she kissed her son's forehead before she left the bedroom turned the TV off, and headed back to her bedroom.

The next day...

Robert woke up the next morning to his alarm clock going off. He climbed out of bed ready to begin his morning routine.

He took a shower, washed his hair, and got dressed into a white shirt underneath a red and black jacket with black pants and black fingerless gloves.

He walked out of the bathroom and saw Katy outside of her Pokeball sitting on a red perch near the window.

"Good morning Katy," Robert said softly with a smile.

"Dustox," Katy greeted back.

"Let's go downstairs and eat breakfast before we head to Professor Birch's Lab," He suggested as Katy nodded.

Robert grabbed the bag his mom packed for him last night and headed on downstairs with Katy on his shoulder.

As he arrived on downstairs he walked into the kitchen where his mom was preparing breakfast and his little sister Polly playing with Delcatty while his father was filling bowls of Pokemon food to take outside for the larger Pokemon they owned and raised since his mom was a breeder.

"Good morning family" Robert greeted as he took a seat at the marble table.

"Morning are you ready for your Pokemon Journey to Kanto?" Georgia asked.

"Yeah I'm ready for my Pokemon journey it going to be great," Robert replied.

"I wish I could go with you," Polly said sadly.

"I know you want to go but you're still too young but maybe when you are eight you can join him on his next journey," Georgia replied.

"You know you might see Ron. I heard he was thinking of going to Kanto this year," Frederick said."Anyway eat up you don't want to be late for Professor Birch's lab or for the ferry to Kanto."

Georgia said as she placed the food on the table with plates containing beautiful snorelax breakfast dishes.

As he finished breakfast Robert returned Katy to her Pokeball and put on his black shoes. As he headed on out he waved bye to his mother's Gardevoir who was using her powers to dust the house.

The moment he stepped outside the house he was greeted by Willow standing outside with a black crossbody bag.

"Yeah let's go," Robert replied as he shut the front door as he walked on outside, and began making his way to Professor Birch's Lab with Willow.

As they arrived at Professor Birch's lab they saw two familiar faces standing there.

"Hello Summer and Henry," Robert greeted and they greeted him and Willow back.

"You guys excited about getting your starter Pokemon?" Willow asked.

"Of course who wouldn't be?" Summer sated.

"Not me it's just a Pokemon," Henry replied rolling his eyes and making Summer glare at him.

Summer was a fair-skinned 12-year-old girl with long reddish-orange hair with green eyes. She was wearing a white sun hat, teal short-sleeved shirt, pink jacket, black skirt, and pink shoes with a blue bag.

Henry is a peach-skinned boy with short black hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a green jacket over a grey shirt, grey pants, and his shoes green and blue. His backpack is dark green and black.

Soon the door to the lab Professor Birch's lab assistant Joshua opened the door.

"You're all here great come on inside, " Joshua said leading them on inside and into a room with a table with three pokeballs on the table and where Professor Birch was waiting for him.

"Now we start off with introducing the starter Pokemon of Hoenn!" Professor Birch said as he grabbed the three pokeballs and tossed them in the air and three Pokemon emerged from it.

First, is a small, green, bipedal reptilian Pokemon. It has yellow eyes with long, narrow pupils. Treecko's hands and feet each have three digits covered with tiny spikes. These spikes allow it to scale vertical walls with ease. Its stomach and throat are red. It also has a line across its stomach resembling a pouch. Treecko has a large, dark green tail with two separate lobes.

Second, is a small, chick Pokémon with stubby, downy, yellow wings. Its body is covered with orange feathers and a fluffy coat of down. There is an orange and yellow crest on its head that resembles a flame. Its two thin legs and short beak are a light brownish yellow, and the feet have three toes in front and one in the back.

Thrid, is a small, amphibious, quadrupedal Pokémon. It has a blue body with a light blue underside. Mudkip has a large head with a blue fin on top and a light-blue tail fin. It has black, beady eyes and orange, star-shaped gills on its cheeks.

"Meet Treecko, the Wood Gecko Pokemon and a grass type," Professor Birch said.

'Treecko!" Treecko greeted cooly with a nod.

"Next is Torchic, the Chick Pokémon and Fire type."

"Torchic!" Torchic cheers happily enger for a trainer.

"And lastly we have Mudkip, the Mud Fish Pokemon, and a Water type."

Mudkip smiled shyly at the four trainers.

"Well, who is going to go first?" Professor Birch asked looking at the young trainers.

"Summer or Willow can go first, ladies first after all," Henry said glancing over at Summer and Willow.

"I go since I already decided on what Pokemon I will choose, and it's Torchic," Summer said making Torchic jump in Summer's arms happily.

"My you're just so cute," Summer said laughing.

"Alright then, here is your Pokedex, Pokeballs, and of course Torchic's Pokeball," Prof. Brich said as he gave Summer her Pokedex, ten Pokeballs, and Torchic's Pokeball.

Summer returned Torchic and went back to stand with the rest of the group before Willow stepped forward.

"Now it's my turn and I pick Mudkip," She said as she picked up Mudkip giving it a friendly hug."I know that you and I are going to be the best of friends."

Prof. Brich gave Willow a Pokedex and ten Pokeballs including Mudkip's Pokeball. Willow rather newly obtained Mudkip as she went back to stand next to Robert.

Henry stepped up and kneeled down in front of Treecko."Well, Treecko it's you and me, and points become the strongest team," He said as Treecko climbed onto his shoulder with a smile.

"Alright Henry, here is your Pokedex and Pokeballs," He handed Henry a Pokedex and some pokeballs including Treecko's.

Henry returned Treecko black to his Pokeball.

"Now that you all have your starter Pokemon, you can now start your journey!" Good luck to you four," Professor Birch said and the four trainers as Henry walked out of the room.

"Robert follow me please," Professor Birch said.

Robert nodded as he turned to Summer and Willow."You two go ahead," He said.

The two females nodded before leaving the room as well.

Robert then followed Professor Birch to another room which was full of Pokeballs and a computer, as he walked over to the desk and grabbed a glass case. As

"What's that?" Robert asked.

"This is a present from your aunt. I'm sure your mother mentioned it," Professor Birch said.

"Yeah, she mentioned after dinner there was another birthday gift," Robert said, recalling what his mom told him before he went to his room.

"This is a Pokemon egg your aunt found all alone and felt you might want to raise it on either hatch," Professor Birch said, holding out an incubator to Robert.

"Thanks, Professor," Robert said, taking the egg from Professor Birch before he was given a Pokedex and Pokeballs.

"Now you should get going, and when you get to Kanto, make sure to see Professor Oak, I told Joshua to tell the others," Professor Birch said.

Robert nodded as he left the room to head on outside the lab.

As Robert was outside, he saw Summer and Willow talking to each other as he walked over with the incubator in his arms.

"Hey," Robert greeted.

"Rob, what's with the egg?" Summer asked as she noticed the egg in the incubator.

"This was a birthday gift to me from my a," Robert replied as Summer and Willow congratulated him for his Pokemon egg.

"So, are you both ready to start your journey?" Robert asked.

"Yeah, I'm about to head off to say one last goodbye to my family," Summer said."Also, Henry already left and says," Catch you later, and that next time you see each it a battle and expect to lose," She said, repeating Henry's words.

"Of course he would say that," He commented.

"Well, see you on the ferry, Summer," Willow said, waving bye to Summer as she headed back home.

Robert and Willow headed to the port to board the ferry to the Kanto Region, ready to begin their journey throughout the Kanto Region.

Here we have it in the first chapter of The Unstoppable Journey of Becoming a Elite Four -Kanto Arc. In this chapter, we meet two of Robert other childhood friends and his rival Henry. Now, with Katy, who already had Dustox Willow, they headed off to the ferry to take them to the Kanto Region where his cousin Ron was going as well. I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Robert and Willow soon arrived at the port and they boarded a beautiful large white and red boat after showing their tickets to the person in charge of checking your ticket. 

"Wow this boat is beautiful almost feels like a cruise," Willow said in awe taking in the scenery of the boat.

"I feel you it a beautiful ship," Robert said in agreement. 

"Well, you're not on a cruise this is just a ship to Kanto," A familiar male voice said from there right.

They turned to see Henry walking towards them as he walked down the stairs shaking his head.

"Geez if we didn't know you me and Willow would consider you a jerk," Robert stated.

"Yeah, we know it's not a cruise ship," Willow commented. 

"My bad just stating the facts," Henry said."You both sharing a room are separate?" He asked.

"You act like that a problem to share a room," Robert said.

"Yeah we're best friends and we always slept over at each other house sometimes in the same room or separate rooms, but no we have separate rooms on the boat right across from each other," Willow commented. 

"Chill I was just joking don't care if you share a room, but just not something I would consider unless I'm dating the girl," Henry stated."Anyway, Rob once you get your bag settled in your room what do you say to a battle there is a battle area up on the third level," He said.

"Sounds good meet you there," Robert said.

Henry nodded."Oh and expect to lose," He said heading back up the stairs where he came from.

"Sure of seem that coming, "Willow commented."Also, I wonder if Summer boarded the ship yet she was going to Kanto to follow her dream of being a future fire-type breeder and gym leader."

"I forgot she wanted to be a breeder for fire types, but I do remember her gym leader goal," Robert said as he and Willow walked down the hall to rooms 103 and 105."She is probably getting on right now the ship doesn't sail for another twenty minutes."

"True," Willow said.

Robert after placing his bag in his room was now heading off to meet up with Henry for their first rival battle. He was soon joined by Willow as she left her room.

"So do you think you will beat Henry?" Willow asked.

"I have full faith in Katy we have been training together for a while," Robert replied.

"Good point," Willow said.

The duo soon arrived at the stairs and made it to the third floor and, noticed a large area with a green-painted battlefield and noticed Hnery waiting for him on the other side.

"Wow, this is impressive!" Willow said in awe.

"Yeah lots of trainers board the ship so they had a battlefield made so trainers could battle with their Pokemon," Henry said."I asked one of the staff about it when I first came across it," He explained.

"I see since we both only have one Pokemon it will be a one-on-one battle and the first person pokemon to faint loses," Robert stated.

"Sounds go with me," Henry said reaching for his Treecko's Pokeball on his belt.

However, before either boy could send out their Pokeball a loud horn with off.

"Everyone will now be setting sail for the Kanto Region!" The captain announced.

"Looks like it," Robert said.

"Now that's out of the way let's go Treecko!" Henry said sending out his newly obtained starter Pokemon.

"Treecko!" Treecko cried out as it came out of its Pokeball and landed on the ground eager to battle.

"Let's go, Katy show treecko what you're made of," Robert said sending out his precious Dustox.

 "Dustox!" Katy cried out as she came out of her Pokeball and fluttered around happily.

"Treecko start this off with Pound!"

"Tree!" Treecko cried out as it ran forward and jumped up aiming its tail at Katy.

"Dustox counter with Confusion."

"Dus!" Katy cried out with her eyes glowing as a blue aura surrounded Treecko as it was lifted away from Katy and sent it flying backward.

"Get up don't let that dustox take you down," Henry commanded."Now once again Pound!"

"Treecko!" Treecko cried out as it ran forward once again trying to land a Pound on Katy

"Katy countered with Gust!"

"Dustox!"  Katy cried out as she flapped her wings rapidly creating a powerful gust of wind and sending Treeckko flying back and slamming into the ground next to Henry with swirls in his eyes.

"Treecko return," Henry said returning Treecko to his Pokeball."It looks like you win this match, but next time the win will be mine."

'We see about that what do you say we grab something for lunch together," Robert said walking towards the stairs.

"I could go with some food," Henry said.

"Same and does anyone remember how long until we get to Kanto," Willow said.

"I believe we dock in Kanto tomorrow morning," Robert said looking at the time on his ticket.

"Alright then let's eat and enjoy the afternoon and evening on the ship," Willow said.

"That sounds like a plan to me," Robert said as heading to the upper level where the food was located.

"I suggest the deil for lunch sandwiches sound good," Henry commented.

The trio soon agreed on Sandwiches and headed off to enjoy a nice lunch and the rest of their time on the ship until they get to the Kanto Region.

Here we have it the second chapter of The Unstoppable Journey of Becoming an Elite Four -Kanto Arc. In this chapter, Robert and Henry have their first rival battle on the boat sailing to the Kanto region. Robert earns his first win with Katy against Henry's Treecko who will probably get a nickname at some point. now they plan to enjoy their time on the ship eating lunch until they finally arrive in the Kanto region. I hope you enjoy the chapter. 

Also if you haven't noticed Robert's love intreast has been decided he going to have two girlfriends being Shego and Jessie and have an idea of how the relationships will work out.

Shego is younger than she is in the Kim Possible show so expect her to look different, her family will most likely still have their powers, but will probably consider them to be like Aura's powers

Chapter Text

Robert was resting peacefully in bed softly snoring as he was roughly awoken by the blaring sound of a fog horn.

"Huh?" Robert questioned as he sat up rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"We have finally arrived in the Kanto Region!" The captain announced. 

"Oh yeah that's right we were heading to Kanto," Robert said sitting up with a yawn.

He then heard a knock on his cabin door."Morning Robby you up?" Willow asked from the other side of the door.

"Yeah about to get dressed and ready to go," Robert replied sitting up in bed."You know where we are dock?" He asked.

"A port not far from Viridian City," Willow replied.

"Alright want breakfast in Viridian before seeing Professor Oak?" Robert asked grabbing his clothes to shower and get ready for the day.

"Sounds like a plan I wait out here for you," Willow replied. 

"I will be out soon," Robert said as he headed to the bathroom to get ready to go.

After a good ten minutes, Robert was fully changed out of his pajamas and ready to go.

"Alright let's get go," Robert said opening the door. 

"You want to find a restaurant to eat breakfast or just get something from the Cafe at the Pokemon Center?" Willow asked looking over at her best friend Robert. 

"I say we just grab food from the Pokemon Center," He replied. 

Robert and Willow walked off the boat and Robert pulled out his Pokenav.

"Alright it seems Viridian City is just a few minutes away from the port," Robert said looking at his map.

"Alright so first stop at the Pokemon Center for some breakfast and then Professor Oak's lab, " Willow said. 

Robert nodded."Yeah while we're there I'm going to sign up for the Indigo League," He stated. 

"Sounds like a plan to me unlike the others I'm still deciding on my goal," Willow commented. 

"Hey don't worry you figure it out in time," Robert said placing a hand on Willow's shoulder. 

"Thanks, Robby," Willow said with a smile of appreciation. 

"Any time," Robert said.

The duo then continued walking toward Viridian as they finally entered the city, and looked around for the Pokemon Center. 

"I believe that the Pokemon Center, " Willow said pointing up ahead at a large building with a red roof.

"Well that was easy to spot well get going and grab us some breakfast, and get me registered for the Indigo League," Robert said as he and Willow started walking in the direction of the Pokemon Center. 

Robert and Willow inside the Pokemon Center where they saw a woman with pink hair and blue eyes standing behind the front counter. 

"Why don't you get a seat in the cafe I join as soon as I get registered and give Nurse Joyy my Pokemon egg to be examined," Robert said. 

"Alright I will grab myself some breakfast," Willow replied heading over to the Cafe.

"See you soon," Robert said waving as he walked over to the front counter. 

"Hello welcome to the Pokemon Center how may I help you," Nurse Joy greeted with a smile.

"I would like to register for the Indigo League," Robert said. 

"Yes of course I will need your Pokedex for just a moment, " Nurse Joy stated.

"Here you go," He said heading his Pokedex to Nurse Joy.

Nurse Joy then placed the Pokedex in the slot of the of the computer. 

"Robert  Stoppable from Littleroot Town from the Hoenn Region has been registered for the Indigo League!" The computer said in a robotic voice.

"There you all registered now you need to earn 8 badges to enter the Indigo League," Nurse Joy said heading back to Robert to his Pokedex."Is there anything else I can help you with?" She asked as Robert took his Pokedex back.

"Yes can you examine my Pokemon egg, please, " Robert said taking off his bag and holding out an egg towards Nurse Joy. 

"Yes leave it to," Nurse Joy said standing up taking the egg and heading back to the back of the Pokemon Center. 

"Alright time to eat some breakfast, " Robert said as he headed to the Cafe where he saw Willow eating donuts and fruit. 

"How is the breakfast?" Robert asked sitting down across from Willow. 

"Great I got you some as well," Willow said pushing over a tray with Pancakes and eggs.

"Yummy you remember my favorite breakfast, " Robert said taking the tray before sending it out to Katy and sharing some of his breakfast with her.

"I almost forgot to come out as well Swimmer," Willow said sending out her Mudkip. 

"Mudkip!" Swimmer cried out jumping on Willow's lap and smelling the food.

"You think Summer and Henry are already out of Viridian City?" Willow asked. 

"If they got off the boat before us then most likely already on the way to the first gym," Robert stated cutting up his pancakes and eating them.

"Yeah but they probably not as far ahead as we think," Willow said.

"Robert Stoppable your Pokemon egg is good to go!" Nurse Joy announced on the intercom.

"Alright I grab my Pokemon egg and then we can leave to see Professor Oak," Robert said standing up and returning his partner Dustox. 

"Sounds like a plan," Willow said returning her Mudkip. 

Robert walked over to the front counter and grabbed her egg from Nurse Joy. "Thank you Nurse Joy how is my egg?" He asked.

"Your Pokemon egg is doing good, and should hatch pretty soon," Nurse Joy replied. 

"That's wonderful thank you for your assistance," Robert said with a nod of thanks.

"No problem glad to help," Nurse Joy said. 

"Hey, Willow ready to go or still eating?" Robert called out.

"Nope done and ready," Willow replied walking over to Robert. 

"Then let's make our way to Pallet Town and then it off to Pewter City for my first gym battle," Robert stated as he placed his egg back in his back for safety. 

Once the egg was secured Robert and Willow left the Pokemon Center to begin their journey to Pallet Town.

Here we have it the third chapter of The Unstoppable Journey of Becoming an Elite Four -Kanto Arc. In this chapter, Robert and Willow arrive in the Kanto Region where Robert gets registered for the Indigo League and gets his Pokemon egg checked out by Nurse Joy.  Now they are on their way to Pallet Town to see Professor Oak. I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Robert and Willow were now walking through the dirt path surrounded by tall grass as they traveled towards Pallet Town. 

"I wonder what kind of Pokemon are around here," Willow commented. 

"Who knows, doubt there may be any bug or poison types, but it couldn't hurt to capture a few other types," Robert stated. 

"I agree could be good to have some balance of other types for the gym battles and  Indigo league," Willow stated. "So what to see what Pokemon are around here or wait for on the way back to Viridian City?" She asked glancing over at Robert.

"I suggest until after we get the update on the Pokedex from Professor Oak on Kanto native Pokemon like Professor Birch suggested so we know what Pokemon were catching," Robert replied. 

Willow nodded."That is understandable well then let's go," Willow said as they continued down the path leading to Pallet Town. 

Robert chuckled."For someone who hasn't decided on her path as you are sure excited to get the adventure started so you can capture Pokemon," He said smiling at his best friend. 

"Sure I may not know actually what kind of path I want to follow yet," Willow started."However, I love exploring and seeing new Pokemon and I feel the more I travel and learn about pokemon from other regions. It will bring me steps closer to choosing my path as a Pokémon trainer." 

"I agree and whatever you decide I'm sure you will be great at it," Robert stated.

"Thanks that's why you're my best friend always believing in me."

Robert nodded as he noticed a sign saying Pallet Town up ahead."Looks like we're almost to Pallet Town," He said.

The rest of the walk was in silence as the duo continued straight ahead towards Pallet Town. 

Robert and Willow arrived at Pallet Town as they scanned the scenery for Professor Oak's lab.

"I'm taking the large building up on the hill is the lab," Willow commented pointing at the building she was talking about.

"Then let's get going and meet this Professor Oak," Robert said putting away his Pokenav since he didn't need to look at the map anymore.

"Sounds like a plan wonder how far the lab is from here?" Willow wondered.

"It probably not as far as it looks," Robert replied as he and Willow started walking in the direction of Professor Oak's lab.

"Yeah given Professor Birch's lab wasn't as far as it seemed from our house, but who knows might be different here," Willow stated.

After a sixteen-minute walk, Robert and Willow were coming closer to the hill where they saw a large crowd of cheerleaders gathered around cheering.

"Gary, Gary!" They cheered.

"What there deal?" Willow asked.

Robert shrugged."Who knows but if I were to guess they're rooting for some kid who thinks they're that cool," He stated as he walked forward squeezing through the crowd.

"Excuse us some people are trying to get through," Willow stated as she squeezed through the crowd with Robert.

Robert opened the door and walked inside with Willow following him inside.

"Professor Oak are you here!" Willow called out.

Robert and Willow glanced up hearing footsteps and saw a ten-year-old boy with spiky brown hair with brown eyes. He was wearing a long sleeve purple shirt, dark grey pants, a yin, and yang necklace, and brown boots with black straps encircling them.

"Who are you two never seen you around Pallet Town," The boy commented in a rude tone.

"Gary my grandson meet Robert Stoppable and Willow Stardust from the Hoenn Region," An older voice said as Professor Oak walked from the back room."My friend Professor Birch told me were coming and a girl left nineteen minutes before you two and the boy had been gone nine minutes before her," He stated.

"I figure they got here before us," Robert commented."So then you know why we are here?" He asked.

"Yes of course follow me and I will get your Pokedex updated with information on the Pokemon here in Kanto feel free to wait out here if you wish," Professor Oak said.

Robert and Willow headed to Professor Oak their Pokedex as he headed to the back room while Robert and Willow decided

"So you're from Kanto?" Gray asked

'Yeah and you're the grandson of Professor Oak," Willow commented.

"I don't know you but, from your tone can already tell your overconfident trainer a thousand times worse than my rival and he can be a jerk at times when it comes to beating me," Robert commented barely glancing at Gary already knowing he wouldn't like the boy.

"I show you how about a battle?" Gary asked.

"Not interested in battling you until you prove to me that you're a rival I would enjoy battling at this point I see a brat," Robert said walking over towards the window.

"Wow you are something to make him annoyed, and wasn't a compliment," Willow commented.

"I won't waste my time with you any way I got badges to earn to become a Pokemon Master," Gary said leaving the lab.

As soon as he was gone Professor Oak came back with their pokedex."Sorry about my grandson he can be quite overconfident just because he related to me. He does have quite the knowledge of Pokemon, but his attitude will be his downfall," He said heading back to Robert and Willow there pokedex.

"That's his problem believing who he related to has anything to do with his actual talent of being a trainer," Robert said putting his pokedex in his jacket pocket.

Robert then started walking towards the door.

"Agree it's his lost anyway nice meeting you Professor," Willow said."Also, don't mind Robert he can get annoyed with people like Gary," She explained before following after Robert.

Now with their updated Pokedex Robert and Willow leave Professor Oak's lab and begin making their way back towards Viridian City as they notice Gary surrounded by his cheerleaders and a figure in pajamas running towards the lab.

In this chapter, Robert and Willow arrive in Pallet Town where they meet Gary Oak an overconfident trainer that Robert is already not a big fan of. Chapter Text

After leaving Professor Oak's lab, Robert and Willow were traveling through Route 1 back to Viridian City. 

"So, Robert, what do you think inside the egg your Aunt sent you?" Willow asked, glancing over at her best friend. 

Robert hummed in response."Well, if my aunt gave it to me, it's probably one of my favorite types, either a bug type or a poison type, or both types, like Katy being a bug/poison type," He started."She wouldn't give me a Pokémon that is not my favorite, nothing against other types, but my goal is to be a bug & poison type master.  It's probably from the Midton where she is from."

Willow nodded."That makes sense, wonder what bug types and poison types live there," She commented."Speaking of Pokémon, wonder what Pokémon live around here," She said, looking around.

"Hey, what do you say we head to the lake nearby to fish, adding a water/poison type to my team if I can find one here wouldn't be a bad idea," Robert said as he looked at the map on his Poknav.

"Sounds good," Willow said in agreement."The only Water/Poison Pokémon  I recall is Tentacool  evolution line, and Qwilfish from Jhoto."

Robert nodded."I saw Tentacool in Hoenn in the waters, and Qwilfish in an old league battle. My mom mentioned there is a Pokémon that is the same type as Marenie, and it evolves from Alola. I don't know about my father's old region or rhe other regions out there, but I guess I'll find out when I travel to the other regions."

Willow nodded."I only knew a bit about Jhoto because of going there for a family vacation a couple of times to see my father's brother." 

"By the way, Willow, why did you choose Mudkip? I honestly thought being named after a flower, you might have picked Treecko," Robert commented. 

Willow glanced at her belt, where Mudkip's pokeball was resting with her starter Swimmer inside of it."I did consider Treecko at first, but after seeing a Mudkip one day on TV in a Pokémon Contest, I decided that Mudkip was cute and wanted my own one day. I don't know what kind of trainer I want to be, but Pokémon contests do seem interesting. Maybe I'll try them someday." 

"That sounds like a plan. I heard that Kanto was going to start doing contests like Hoenn, Jhoto, and Sinnoh," Robert said."I don't think it started up yet, but maybe you can do them when we travel to Jhoto next. I'm sure you'll find something fun to do in Kanto, even if it's not doing a contest this year."

"Yeah, there's bound to be something here for me," Willow said as they continued walking towards the lake, which was supposed to be located.

However, they stopped in their tracks when a rustling sound was heard. They turned to see a figure come out of the bushes.  It was a small, mammalian quadrupedal Pokémon with primarily brown fur. The tip of its bushy tail was shaped like a heart, and its furry collar was cream colored. It has short, slender legs with three small toes and a pink paw pad on each foot. It has brown eyes, long pointed ears with dark brown interiors, and a small black nose. The Pokemon sniffed around as if it were searching for food.

"So adorable, let's check out the information on this cute," Willow said, taking out her Pokedex. 

[Eevee, the Evolution Pokemon.  A Normal type.  Its genetic code is an unstable genetic makeup that suddenly mutated due to its environment. If it comes in contact with a Fire Stone, it evolves into Flareon. A water stone evolves it into Vaporeon, and a Thunderstone evolves Eevee into Jolteon. Having high friendship and evolving during the day gives you Espeon a psychic type, but during the night is Umbreon a dark type.]

This Eevee is female, as indicated by the shape of its tail. }

"A Eevee so cute," Willow said, smiling as she put away her Pokedex. 

"You're going to catch her?" Robert asked, glancing over at Willow. 

"Yeah, Swimmer, come out and lend me a helping hand," Willow said, tossing a Pokeball and sending out her Mudkip. 

"Mudkip!" Swimmer cried out, looking at Willow.

"Swimmer, help me catch that Eevee," Willow said, pointing at the Eevee.

"Mud," Swimmer cried with a nod as she glanced over at the Eevee, as she got into a stance ready to battle.

"Start with Tackle," Willow commanded.

"Kip!" Swimmer cried out as she charged towards Eevee.

"Vee!" Eeve cried out as she turned to see the movement and saw Swimmer coming towards her. She turned around and kicked sand towards Swimmer.

'Sand Attack," Robert commented.

"Don't let that sand stop you, get rid of it with Water gun," Willow commanded.

"Mudkip!" Swimmer cried out as she stopped in her tracks and fired a blast of water through the sand, washing it away and hitting Eevee and knocking her to the ground.

"Vee!" Eevee cried out as she stood up, shaking off the effects of being knocked down, before running towards Swimmer.

"Here comes a Tackle. You counter with your own Tackle."

"Mudkip!" Swimmer cried as she charged towards Eevee.

The two Pokemon collided with each other, sending both of them flying back. Swimmer barely managed to plant her feet on the ground to maintain balance, while Eevee crashed, passing out.

"Alright, Eevee is mine, go Pokeball!" Willow called out, tossing a Pokeball at the fainted Eevee.

The pokeball hit Eevee and a red flash of light sucked her on inside of the Pokeball. It shook one, twice, and then a third time before it dinged with a light in the center signaling that Eevee was successfully captured.

"Congrats on capturing your first Pokemon here in Kanto," Robert said.

"Thank wonder which evolution I should go with," Willow said as she walked over and grabbed her Pokeball.

"I'm sure you figure it out once you know what kind of trainer you want to be," Robert said."The lake shouldn't be much farther, maybe eat some lunch soon as well, but I probably eat after I do my fishing," He said as Willow put her new Pokeball clipped onto her belt and picked up Swimmer.

"I hope you catch something awesome,' Willow said as they walked towards the lake coming in view.

"I'm sure I'll find what I'm looking for, or maybe find it somewhere else," Robert said as soon as they reached the lake and took off his bag, and sat down to get his fishing rod out of his bag.

"Well, while you're fishing, I'll make us some sandwiches," Willow said as she took a seat a bit away from the lake. She placed Swimmer down, and took her bag off to grab the bag of bread.

Robert nodded as he took out a yellow fishing rod and a hook, a Dustox lure, and cast his lure to start fishing for a water/poison type to add to his team.

'I hope I can find a Tentacool. Professor Birch did say that Kanto and Hoenn do have Pokemon that are native to both regions.'  He thought as he hummed a soft tune as he waited for a bite.

Robert then reached for his belt as he waited and grabbed a Pokeball and sent out Katy.

"Dustox!" Katy cried out as she landed on Robert's shoulder.

'Hey, Katy, we're going to hopefully find a new teammate when we get something needs your help to weaken the Pokemon.

"Dustox!" Katy cried out, ready to battle whenever.

"Well, why are you waiting? Why don't you eat a sandwich?" Willow said, walking over and handing him a plate with a sandwich and a bowl of Pokemon food for Katy.

"Sure, better than sitting here doing nothing," Robert said, taking the sandwich and taking a bite of it.

"Dustox!" Katy cried out as she got off of Robert's shoulder to eat her own food.

"So, what are you nicknaming Eevee?" Robert asked.

"Well, since I don't know what evolution I want, trying to think of a name that would fit no matter what she evolves into," Willow said as she glanced at Eevee, who was eating next to Swimmer.

"How about Lumen since it means light, adaptable, and radiant," Robert suggested.

"Lumen," Willow muttered."That doesn't sound like a bad name."

Robert's attention was then drawn towards his fishing rod when he heard a noise and saw ripples in the water and his rod moving slightly. he put down the rest of his half-eaten sandwich and grabbed it, and carefully reeled in and up out of the water came a small, cindaraian pokemon. It has a light blue, clear body with two large, transparent, red crystalline eyes on each side of its body and one small one in the middle. near the base of its body is a pointed, beak-like projection and two eyes with small pupils. Two grayish tentacles are extending from beneath its round lower body, which has a cape-like formation on the back.

Here we have the fifth chapter of The Unstoppable Journey of Becoming an Elite Four -Kanto Arc. In this chapter, Robert and Willow make their way back to Viridian City​​​​. You learn more about Willow and why she ended up choosing Mudkip as her starter Pokemon. They then encountered an Eevee that Willow battles with Swimmer, the Mudkips help and capture it later on, they stop to have lunch, and Robert does some fishing for a Pokemon to add to his team, and reels in a Tentacool, which you will see him attempt to capture next chapter.
