Summary
Jason, or Jace for short, was always a fan of Pokemon, and games and anime in general. So after finding himself in a world full of the critters after a mugging, he doesn’t have much to complain about. Maybe the fact the world is a bit darker than he would have liked, but that just drives him to want to help out all the Pokemon he comes across.
We follow him as he helps deal with the many problems of the Pokemon he meets, trips on more twists than a pretzel, thwarts villainous plots, and tries to live the fantastical sort of dream that he’s always wished for. But of course it can’t be that easy. He still needs to figure out why he was brought here, why he can talk to Pokemon, and why he knows more things than he remembers about a world that he was only mildly obsessed with. But that’s a problem for the future.
This is a wholesome sort of slice of life with lots of adventure stuff and a bit of a darker edge, following someone who wants to see the world and make friends with as many Pokemon as possible.

It’s been a year and a half since Team Plasma attacked the Pokémon League, and Ranger Lena Winifred is finally starting to feel like things are going back to normal. Sure, Unova’s in a power struggle, the International Police keeps strong-arming the Ranger Union out of incidents, and Unova’s savior Hilbert disappeared without a trace, but the region’s healing and Lena’s finally starting to move on from her own repressed trauma.
But when Lena gets a Quest to investigate a missing child in Accumula Town, she didn’t think she’d be adding discovering extinct Pokémon, managing international politics, and protecting a child who seems to know too much to her job description.
But duty calls, and Lena is not going to fail again.

La Team Plasma est une organisation qui a traumatisé Unys avec ses méfaits, manipulations et crimes. Alors, quand le Roi N la quitte et elle se sépare en deux grâce à l'ouverture des yeux du Sage Carmine, le choc peut se ressentir en elle. Ghetis, le véritable patron, dévoile alors son plan : conquérir la région et la soumettre à leur pieds.
Dans tout cela se trouve Layla. Une sbire supérieure qui sert les Sages. Froide et distante, au passé difficile, elle est quand même au courant qu'elle qu'un pion dans cette machine folle. La jeune femme possède ses idéaux, sa réalité, et cela semble plaire au nouveau leader de la Team Plasma.
Mais Layla, tout ce qu'elle veut, c'est d'accomplir ses objectifs, aussi flous soient-ils...

Pikachu made the absolute dumbest, stupidest mistake of his life. Now he traded his freedom, for a small ball prsion and is stuck with a trainer who doesn't know what 9 times 5 is without a 5 minute thinking session.
Also why the hell is this kid so damn accident prone, and why the hell is team rocket after them, and just how many crazy adventures can one rodent take before he goes mad.
Still the kid is still a kid so Pikachu guesses its his job to protect him, at least until the pokemon gets a chance to escape while the kid is for sure safe.
......
Basically I have seen so many stories of ash as a pokemon, or he can understand pokemon, or pokemon are the most prominent side characters. And even ones where it is fully a pokemon poverty but those are usually one shots.
So how about a long story from mostly Pikachu's perspective. Of course with a few twist and turns her and there.

In a world now covered in endless snow, where random gods begins to fall appart because of their old age, a being, creator of a whole universe, seek for help as their realm, full of smart creatures named Pokemons, is about to get doomed by an incoming cataclysme. The creature then chose four being, half organical and half mechanical, to be the ones to save their world, taking them away from the endless tundra. These creatures, being the iterators Five Pebbles, Look To The Moon, No Significant Harassement and Seven Red Suns, were about to discover and learn how to live in this new and strange world, and meet friends and foes along the way to discover what happened to them, and why are they here.
At the same time, in the region of Paldea, in the mountains to the west, some kind of cries of despair mixed with hatred and anger could be heard, coming from an hiden round door, sealed. The door was shaking; something was hitting hit from behind. And after a little while, it slightly oppened, and a pale blue and glowing eye looked through the small breach.
