Summary
The gang is taking a break at a regional park when a particularly bad storm forces them to take refuge in an old cabin for the night. In the morning, they discover numerous wild Pokémon were injured because of the storm. When Lil becomes oddly attached to one of them in particular, she disappears after it runs away. Worried about her, Iris gets Cilan to go after Lil while she and Ash remain occupied with the other injured Pokémon. In searching for the wayward wild Grass Type, Cilan learns a lot about not only Lil, but himself as well.
This chapter opens with some lighthearted shenanigans with the group, showing more of Lil’s personality from the perspective of another character, as well as how her friendship with the others has strengthened (and there’s a cute/funny little moment with Pansage later on too). Then we get into the main part of the chapter, and things get more serious.

To be sent back in time as singular and to come back to the present as plural is a strange thing. Now that Dawn has returned home, she just wants to go back to living her normal, average lifestyle, but she feels she is being held back from living like she used to, and is now struggling because of the gaps in her memory and the gaps in which she is not in control in her day-to-day life.
Meanwhile, Akari just wants to go back to the old life they adapted to where they be both the hunter and the hunted by wild pokémon, sometimes bigger or different colored. Even if it wasn't the most safe for them, and they have developed a lot of anxieties that they don't even recognise as such about some of their old hobbies, such as seaking out Alphas, they would rather live that life then this current one.
Dawn and Akari are both completely different people in one body. They may not get the old life they dream of reliving, but that won't stop either of them from trying...
