   Summary

   How embarrassing it is, letting yourself slowly succumb to death. How was that supposed to be valiant? Brave? Or heroic? He had only hid behind a mask of superiority.

   Despite not meeting death through execution, he was unable to escape the vulnerability of his body's frail condition. His useless, troublesome, painful body would always persist. How had he let himself deteriorate to such a point? How could he have been so weak and helpless?

   He was a fraud, and he had fooled everyone—even himself, into thinking he was something great. But in the end, his body betrayed him. He couldn't escape it. No matter how hard he tried to run from it, it always caught up with him.

   Kaito was nothing more than a fragile, useless human being.
