Summary
Park Jimin lives an ordinary life as an ordinary elementary school teacher in the ordinary town of Goseon-ri. He's engaged to Oh Soojin, also an elementary school teacher, and lives with his parents while saving his salary for a deposit on a three-bedroom house in a newly built modern development. There, he and Soojin intend to raise three children, a dog, and two cats, and all but the animals will go to church every Sunday like good Catholics do.
Elderly, venerable Father Minho, who watched both Jimin and Soojin grow up attending the church, is to officiate at their wedding. However, Father Minho suffers a catastrophic stroke just two months before the big day, leaving Goseon-ri without a parish priest. After this unexpected crisis, the bishop delegates newly-ordained priest Kim Taehyung as Father Minho's replacement.
Handsome, athletic and most of all, young, Father Tae's arrival makes quite the splash in Goseon-ri.
And as for Park Jimin, it eventually makes him question everything he once believed would keep him safe from himself.
