Work Text:
Living with Alex came with its own rules, and those became even more clear once he, Vincent, and Marie eventually moved out of the facility and into a house of their own.
He tried not to be too harsh about his rules and he also did well to limit them. He'd improved on his management of his disorder during his time at the facility, and his partners were both very proud of him for that.
Still, there were certain things that they had to abide by, particularly if they ever went into his room.
Vincent and Marie both did their best to follow his rules. Eventually, it just weaved itself into their subconscious behaviors and they hardly had to even think about it.
They wanted him to feel safe and calm, and they also knew he did things to aid in the struggles that came with their disorders as well.
Sure, the rules were a bit annoying at times, but they loved him, and that outweighed any irritation.
