Summary
He was back, just like that. Without any prior warning, Eric Cartman trudged back into school after a year of absence, much to everyones' shock. The weirdest thing about it though was that whenever someone tried to poke the bear with a stick, he just halfheartedly dismissed them with a “don't you have to powder your nose with your (insert person the aggressor relies on)'s ass?” or some other mildly profane jab, leaving it at that. It drove Kyle mad. What has changed during that year that he won't even jump Kyle at the greeting “Yo fatass, what's rolling, besides you?”?
What happened to the fire that ignited inside Cartman's eyes whenever he and Kyle got into an argument? What happened to the strong want to rile Kyle up until both were panting with rage and want for more?
What happened to the Eric Cartman he once knew?
Maybe it wasn't his place to know, but that surely didn't keep him from investigating what sick thing Cartman had certainly planned out. And being at it, he could let him pay up for all the shit he put him through all those years.
Kyle was positive on that.
