Summary
The Valuka Shuna are expertly adapted to life in the deserts of Sumeru, but Tighnari was born with a rare condition that resulted in his hair being dark, instead of the sandy color of other Valuka Shuna. Due to this, he has an incredibly low tolerance to heat, and faints often.
After a hunting trip with his family in the desert goes wrong, he collapses, and his parents fear for his life. In an effort to save their son, Tighnari's parents plead with King Deshret to allow his healers to help him. Finding Tighnari to be exceptionally fair and recognizing that his life in the desert will be difficult on his own, the king agrees...on one condition.Tighnari is to be surrendered to King Deshret's palace and is to take up the role as his son's, Prince Cyno's, concubine.
How will Tighnari adjust to this new role? Why is the prince so kind to him?
