Summary:

It's Sophie's turn to plan a trip for Harry

Notes:

I feel like Flynn is bleeding into Harry a bit. But oh well.

Written for the prompt A Cosmopolitan City for monopoly.

Work Text:

Sophie decided to plan a trip for the two of them. It was the least she could do. Harry had been trying so hard to find something for the two of them to do. Somewhere for them to go that didn't have baggage. But after multiple attempts she was taking a turn.

On their last trip she had noticed just how much he had loved the stops where they got to learn. Sure he had liked the ones for looking and shopping. But there was something special about the ones where he was able to learn about something new. She had loved seeing the way his face lit up as he learned all about something he hadn't known before.

So, she decided to take him to Washington DC. Unlike so many other cities she didn't have either a major history (at least not enough to get them caught) or strong emotional ties. She had never been there other than for a few cons here and there.

It was the right choice. Watching Harry move from exhibit to exhibit across the complex of museums that made up the Smithsonian. They spent days going through each one that they had any amount of interest in. Which was all of them. It was one of the most fun trips that she had ever been on. Not the romantic one that Harry had been trying for, but a fun vacation that they both enjoyed. A nice break from the endless chaos of their lives.

Both of them were able to get back to what they were supposed to be doing upon getting home.
