Work Text:
'Cause I'm Charybdis and Scylla, but also all of the ocean itself. I'm all the vessels, all the sailors.
I'm all the gigantic waves and tsunamis, but also the calmer sea that shines under the moonlight. I'm unpredictable and constant.
I'm the salty water and the fresh water, the sea and the rain. Somedays I'm as big and scary as the most frightening shark, but sometimes I find myself being just one more little fish on a sea of fishes.
Even though I always want to be Poseidon, eventually I become a mere cyclop. And, even after being all of this, I'm still nothing. I'm just a drop of water on this gigantic ocean we call home.
So, in the end, who am I?
