Summary
Ratio of women-to-men has gone terribly wrong during the years. Now there are only 13 boys per 100,000 children born. Needless to say, boys are precious.
Society has morphed to the format where women's main responsibility is to bear children to keep the race alive. Over the years they have become slaves with very little rights: they can be sold and gifted, like any other property.
Aman is just turning eighteen. His father is the mayor of the city and their family is one of the richest. Now that Aman has the power of man, all the adventures of manhood are waiting.
His father's gift of 11-year-old twins is one he's had his eyes on for some time. And one very special girl: his 13-year-old sister. Jayleen still thinks that their father will marry her to a wealthy family and she will avoid the perils of slavery. Aman has a different plan, which is put into action the night he turns eighteen.
