Summary
The year is 1933. Jane, 21, is still troubled by memories of the events of her 5th year at Hogwarts. The transition from a muggle orphanage into the wizarding world, the battle with Ranrok, the loss of Professor Fig amongst others has her feeling lost and alone, only finding comfort and solace in her only remaining friend, Ominis Gaunt. After school ends, Ominis, loathed by his family, is given the dilapidated Manor Cape mansion by his parents, keeping him as far away from the rest of the Gaunt family as possible. He finds a similar comfort within Jane, offering for her to live with him at Manor Cape once school ends. Three years have passed since the end of school and a life of almost comfort has befitted them both. But is this a relationship of solace or something more? And how will the return of one, now ex-convict, Sebastian Sallow affect the life they have created for each other.
