Summary
This is it for him. This is forever. He wants this forever. He wants Evan and their dog Apollo, lazy Sundays, and homemade breakfast burritos. He wants Evan to come home from a run all sweaty and gross, and immediately drop on top of him, instead of taking a shower. After every hard shift, he wants to make Evan that lavender tea he loves and rub his feet while Evan rants about everything that went wrong. He wants to play fetch with Apollo in their backyard as Evan reads a book about whatever his latest hyperfixation is. He wants the random fun facts. He wants. He wants so bad. He wants this for the rest of his life. He has to have this for the rest of his life. He doesn’t know what he would do without Evan.
He’s almost embarrassed at how long he’s had the ring. It should be expected, he thinks. It should be expected that he’s thinking of committing to him this early in their relationship.
