Summary
Post-war Paris, a quiet night. On a routine errand to get their theatre costumes mended, Armand and Santiago stumble onto a young, exceptionally talented English seamstress, Olivia. Her mind is unreadable and her blood sings a song too sweet for any vampire to ignore. Armand decides to take her back to the Theatre des Vampires where she must remain and put her talents to good work for the coven. Stuck between the threat of imminent death if her work disappoints, a group of ravenous vampires who want nothing more than to feed on her when they are not permitted to and a Master vampire who desires to keep her and her powerful blood all to himself, she must use all the luck and wit she has to survive - and one day, escape...
