   Summary

   William Beckett was horrible. Not that Travie had any space to judge, when he’s nearly just as bad, but it’s the truth. William Beckett was entitled, bloodthirsty, pretentious, and self-absorbed. He’s a caricature of a flamboyant villain, down to the ways he talks and dresses. He’s ridiculous and annoying and, technically speaking, Travie’s rival.

   But when Travie put his cigarette out on Beckett’s outstretched arm, grinning as he squirmed, none of that seemed to matter.
