Work Text:
Paul's back ached, a common issue he dealt with.
He felt lucky to have ended up with a medical worker as his boyfriend. Hugh had quickly been able to diagnose the cause of his chronic pain (Fibromyalgia) and always helped him with pain management.
"What hurts right now?" Hugh asked, recognizing the pained expression on the albino's face.
"My back, mostly" Paul replied. Hugh nodded.
"Where are you at on the pain scale?"
"About an eight"
"Alright" Hugh hummed, pulling a small, familiar device out of his pocket. It was an instrument similar in structure to an Epi-Pen, but it administered strong pain meds using a laser. He often used it to help Paul whenever the pain got to a seven or higher. "Do you consent to me using this?"
"Yes" Paul replied, almost desperate. He hissed as Hugh administered the medication into the middle of his back but soon relaxed as the pain finally began to lower. "Thanks"
"No need"
