Chapter Text
The day started off as normal at the Saint Cassian Chamber School in Uranium. Most of the children were either in their classes out of pure boredom, and others were skipping around in the halls creating their own fun. Still, there was an ominous feeling in the air that no one wanted to address.
It was right before lunch period that something happens.
As the children and teachers started to crowd into the cafeteria, they paused at the entrance of the cafeteria. The space was set up in an unusual way. All of the tables were lined up in rows, facing a large projecter screen. The closest seats to the screen were five regular chairs.
Before anylne could speak up about the set up, there was a weird whooshing sound. Everyone found themselves sitting at a table, facing that screen in front of them. The school's chior and Farther Marcus sat in the six chairs in the front row.
"What the heck?!" A boy yelled.
"What is happening?" One girl questioned.
The room erupted into worried chatter and confusion. A buzzing noise, like one you would hear when you win a game at a fair, played over the speakers and the whole room immediately went silent.
”Relax children, and adults. You are safe here" a calm voice boomed throughout the room, mechanical whirring in the background.
This only made everyone's panic worsen, some people yelling out in surprise and confusion:
“The fuck?!”
”Who was that?”
”Hello? God?”
”Oh fuck this, hell no,” the boy tried to get up out of his seat but was pulled back by a strange force.
”The hell?! Dude, the fuck was that? It was you were possessed or something."
”Why is the voice kinda…”
The seating was; Ocean, Constance, Noel, Mischa, Penny, and Ricky.
“Hey, why do those freaks get special seats?” A very obnoxious boy asks.
“Watch it," Father Marcus said in a warning tone.
“Yeah, Yeah... Sorry,” The boy fakely apologized, very obviously not sorry.
The voice started talking again, “Today you all will watch something that’s going to happen in the near future. Specifically this monday" it said.
”But it’s Wednesday today. What’s going to happen on monday that’s so important we are all trapped in the cafeteria?” A teacher asks intrigued.
“Well, it revolves around the chior specifically." the voice said in its monotone voice.
”I’m gonna sleep through this, fuck that” a girl huffed, not interested in the concept at all.
“You will find yourself unable to sleep during this, as the video I'll be showing you all is going to be very, VERY, loud” the voice spoke again.
A bunch of kids started groaning.
”Also, i would like to add, since this revolves around you six, your voices will automatically be louder then anyone else’s.”
“That's just swell...” Noel muttered sarcastically, jumping at just how loud his own voice was. “What the fuck!” he yelped, jumping again.
“His voice annoys me so much. I'm going to kill myself at the end of this,” Some rando grumbled. Noel shrunk slightly in his seat, frowning as he picked at his nails. Some of the teachers reprimand the kid for his comment.
“Well i’m excited!” Ocean exclaimed rather loudly, which her voice being enhanced, did not help. A group of kids winced at just how loud she was.
“I take it back, HER voice is going to be the reason I kill myself.” The kid said.
Noel snickered quietly to advoid being scolded by Ocean, unlike Mischa who started laughing loudly.
Constance made a nervous and slightly akward face. "Mischa.. that’s kinda mean” she said with a tiny frown.
“What else to expect from her," A teacher mumbles. The comment made Constance frowned and looked down.
“I’m rather excited like Ocean, who knows what we’re going to watch!” Penny whispered with a smile.
”Wait, wait- Isn’t our competition on Monday?” Noel asked.
”You're correct Noel, it is.” Father Marcus confirmed.
”They’re going to the fair, right?” Some kid asks her friend.
“I think so,” her friend responds.
”Maybe they die or something” some random kid says plainly.
It went dead silent.
“Why would you say that!?” another boy yelled.
”Yo, the hells the matter with you?!” Mischa said rather aggressively.
“We won’t die, guys!" Ocean said matter of factly, trying to calm down her chior members.
“Are you all ready to begin?” The voice boomed.
Some kids jumped, at the voice randomly appearing again.
“I'm still not used to that," Ricky's AAC voice said. A few giggles were heard.
“Saint Cassian Chamber Choir, are you ready to see what awaits your futures?” The voice directed to the six students at the front.
“I-I guess?” Constance muttered, nervous.
“Let’s begin-" the voice began.
”Damned robot voice thing...” Noel grumbled, forgetting his voice is louder than it normally is.
“Shit- sorry. Yeah, continue. Let’s get this over with.” Noel rushed, trying to continue.
”Okay. Trying this again,” The robotic voice started
“It's time to play."
