"Mm?" Kageyama shot Hinata an indifferent glance before drinking from his water bottle. He sighed, "Dumbass, where did you even get that idea?"
"It's suspicious!" Hinata threw his hands in the air, squawking. "You're going home earlier than usual. It's always between wednesdays and fridays too!"
"So?"
"Again, It's suspicious!!"
It's true, Kageyama had been going home earlier than he usually does whenever it was wednesday or friday. He stayed consistent ever since they came home from the practice match with Nekoma. Even before then, he would bid farewell with the coaches and the captains first before promptly leaving with his flip phone in hand. Hinata had consulted his beloved senpais, Tanaka and Nishinoya, about his partner's odd behavior and came in to the conclusion;
"You're dating someone, aren't you?!" Hinata accusingly pointed his index finger at the raven haired teen in front of him. He only gained a deadpan stare in return. To which, of course, Hinata retaliated with a scowl that resembles a screaming red panda to Kageyama. Huh, those documentary shows have been appearing in Kageyama's mind lately. "You are! Don't even deny that!"
"Huh? Oh, yeah." Kageyama responded before getting irked by Hinata's last remark. "You-! Who said I was denying anything?! Dumbass Hinata!"
"I knew it!!!" Hinata screeched back. Though, his screeches were silenced by Kageyama's stare and his hand on Hinata's hair.
"Hey, hey. Quit that." Tanaka, who was near the scene, interfered with a small smirk on his face. "Ohoho, Kageyama! You never told any of us that you got game!"
"True." Sugawara, who was beside Daichi and Tanaka, nodded once in agreement. He had a look of shock on his face, palm hovering over his mouth at the shocking revelation of their junior being in a committed relationship. "He got into a relationship before you did, Tanaka."
Being hit with the unsettling reality of having less game than a literal first year high schooler, Tanaka recoils. "Fuck!" He and Nishinoya clench their fists as they pat each other's shoulder in an attempt to comfort each other. "At least we're loyal to Kiyoko-san, bro." They sob.
Daichi couldn't help but purse his lip at the scene. 'Sugawara only targeted Tanaka, though.'
The second year duo can't even pull out an uno reverse card because Sugawara himself has been in a relationship before. Knowing this, their silver-haired senior only gave them a thumbs-up with a laugh. Tanaka and Nishinoya held each other tightly after that.
"I didn't expect him to agree so quickly." Asahi scratched his cheek with his index finger. "Kageyama, I mean."
Daichi crossed his arms, humming. "It's not something you really need to hide, anyway. Getting into a relationship at that age is normal."
"How come you didn't get into one 'at that age' then?" Sugawara fired shots at their captain unprovoked. Foul.
Daichi glowered, eyebrow twitching as Asahi tried his hardest to muffle his laughter by lowering his head and covering his mouth. Sugawara, this bastard.
"Everyone, 10 laps around the field."
"EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH??"
