Summary
It is Harry's 6th year at Hogwarts and ever since that fatal day when he unleashed the sectumsempra curse on Draco Malfoy, not knowing its effects, his relationship with Malfoy has changed. Over time, they have managed to find comfort in each other's presence and come closer, admitting their attraction to one another. Now, Malfoy whisks him away to hidden alcoves and broom closets, kissing him as if it means something, all while telling him their relationship is 'purely physical' and no more. Harry, overwhelmed with the depth of his romantic feelings for Malfoy and blaming himself for the situation has no greater wish than for Malfoy to love him back.
Then everything changes when a mysterious time-travelling stranger suddenly falls through what seems to be a portal to the future right into the middle of the Great Hall - a stranger that seems strikingly familiar.
Or: Draco from the future (where he is very much happily married to Harry) ends up travelling back in time and giving his younger self the necessary push to see past all his self-blame and fears of not being enough for Harry, so that they can finally admit to their mutual love.
