“Can’t she just stay with the boys?” Kenta asked as he leaned against the doorframe of their master bedroom to watch Way in the shower. He looked gorgeous. The soap sliding down his body. His gaze stopped on the cesarean scar before sliding the rest of the way down. There on Way’s right upper thigh was a red rope circle with three spider lilies sprouting from it and three knots dangling down. The red stood out on lovely pale skin.
“Don’t let Kim here you call him that and they are going out of town for one of Sonic’s gigs. Besides, Babe and Charlie love taking care of Mei, Ken,” Way answered, rinsing off before turning the waterfall shower off. He stepped out letting the steam roll out with him. “Don’t even ask about Alan or Jeff, they're holding down the garage in preparation for the next race.”
“Then they can have her before we leave instead of in an hou-” Kenta started as he leaned against the sink counter, crossing his arms.
“Ken.” Way stepped forward to where they were almost brushing their chests. He smiled as he saw his mate’s eyes darken. “Our daughter is staying with my best friend and Charlie. And you’re coming with me and Pete to dance and eat more than the fancy pasta you’ve been craving.” He reached over to take his towel off the counter. Kenta took hold of the towel, standing at his full height so he was a few inches taller. “And you’re going to enjoy every second of it.”
The like now was left unsaid as Way’s grin turned smug as Kenta started to dry him off with a heated look in his eyes. “Fine.”
“Fine.” Way leaned in kissing Kenta, his hands moving to get beneath the hem of the black v neck that Kenta was wearing. He felt the other shiver and it only encouraged him to take advantage of him more. They had time to kill and this was the perfect way to use it up.
Charlie was happy as he cut the edges off the sandwiches that Mei wasn’t crying anymore. She had gotten upset when it was time for a nap which happened to be the hardest part of babysitting. She wasn’t bonding well to Babe and Charlie was sure that she just tolerated him. He tossed the edges into the trash then moved the sandwiches to the plate they’d share while Mei recharged.
He moved them to the table, got them drinks, then headed upstairs to see if Babe had fallen asleep with her. Which is normally how it worked. Mei had Kenta’s stubbornness. Not today though, Babe was stepping out of their guest room just in time for him to be at the top of the stairs. Babe froze seeing him while Way’s singing voice filtered out of the room.
The birds, the bees sing moo-moo mei, moo-moo mei. Way hummed, The wolf and the moon sing moo-moo mei, moo-moo mei.
“Did you call Way?” Charlie asked as Babe sheepishly smiled, closing the door.
“No. I recorded him at the barbeque at Alan’s last week.” Babe proudly answered as they headed back downstairs.
“What if it didn’t work?” Charlie snorted.
“Then I was going to make you cuddle with us.” Babe toothily answered as Charlie swatted his shoulder.
“Brat.” Charlie shook his head though he was smiling the entire time.
