You take a deep breath. Pointing your head up, you're once again faced with the deteriorating theme park that once used to be so joyous. Last time you were here... You know the horrors of what lies within this park.
Approaching the front gate, the scene around you seemed eerily dead. Indigo Park was unsettling the first time you approached it, but now knowing what lies inside these gates...
The large indigo gates had remained wide open from when you were here a few days ago. There was no raccoon to greet you at the entrance of the park this time around, making the whole vibe of this visit even more creepy. With no other option, you venture further into the park in search of your furry friend.
Upon reaching the central of the park, you look around briefly before spotting a ball of purple fur curled up peacefully on a park bench. You approach slowly before determining that it's the parks mascot sleeping and not another monster waiting to attack you.
You attempt to approach your fluffy friend before accidentally stepping on the loudest twig in existence. You freeze in place as the sound echos around you, eyes glued to Rambley as you notice his ears twitch.
The purple raccoon slowly sits up, rubbing his eyes with his hands before looking around to identify where the noise came from. Eventually his sleepy eyes lock onto yours as a small smile appears on face.
"Oh, hey there buddy! You're sure out late." He slowly pushes himself off the bench and walks over to you drowsily. You can tell how obviously tired he seems to be but can't help but to draw a small smile on your face as he lets out a small yawn.
"I guess I did come a little later than I did the first time." You scratch the back of head, feeling a bit guilty for waking Rambley up on accident. You let out a small laugh as he continues to sleepily waddle over to you.
"You know buddy," Rambley said as he grabbed your hand lightly, "You shouldn't be up this late. You need to be well rested for our next Indigo Adventure!" He let out a small chuckle as he tugs on your hand softly. You stumble behind the purple raccoon as he leads you over to the bench he'd just came from.
He tried sitting you down the best he could before you eventually just sat yourself down on the bench. Unsure of what your furry companion was doing, you decided to stay quiet as he sat down next you.
Before you could open your mouth to speak, the raccoon was suddenly leaning his fuzzy head onto you. Too stunned to speak, you sit there quietly as Rambley starts snuggling up to you.
"Why don't we call this adventure the get-a-good-nights-rest-with-Rambley mini adventure?" Rambley smiled up at you as he began to nuzzle his way onto you. Giving in to the temptation, you lightly wrap your arms around the raccoon's round and fluffy body, returning the cuddle the warm ball of fur giving you.
As you and Rambley slowly get more comfortable cuddling with each other, you gently place one of your hands on the top of his soft head and pet him lightly. He leans slightly up into your petting, a clear content yet tired look on his round purple face.
Warmth was practically emanating from his plushy body, the feeling of his body weight pressed against you, his soft fur brushing against your skin. Everything about this situation was so calming and serene despite the somewhat disturbing surroundings of the decaying park. None of that mattered right now though, the only thing you could focus on was the adorable raccoon now cuddling with you.
You and he talk for a little bit, before he eventually lulls himself to sleep from rambling. You can't help but feel tired too and you're kind of stuck since Rambley is sleeping on you. You look down at the cute purple raccoon before yawning, realizing just how drowsy you are too. With nowhere to go, you lay your head atop the fuzzy raccoon and slowly drift off to sleep.
