“Because-” He started, voice halting before Tommy edged him on with a soft kiss against his forehead. “I- I wish I could be more confident.”
“What do you mean?” Tommy questioned, eyebrow raising as he centered their faces back together again. He watched Buck’s hand lift from his thigh just enough to wave backward, like he was trying to come across as nonchalant as he forced his confession out.
“I mean- my blushing can’t be that attractive. I’m trying to, I don’t know, get past all these butterflies, but-”Tommy interrupted him with another kiss, the others' breath pouring into his open mouth as he shook his head gently, ridding him of his self-doubt.
“I love your blush, baby.”“Come on-”
“No, I mean it. I love every single thing about you, your blush only makes you more adorable. I want those butterflies to last as long as possible, I just want to make you blush and stutter in that adorable way you do for the rest of your life.”
