   Summary

   A missing boyfriend, absent father, and an unpredictable, anorexic mother could drive any thirteen year old girl crazy. That, in combination with a new disease that causes corpses to rise from the dead and attack, effectively ending the modern world as she knew it, makes Zippy wish she could disappear forever. Staying outside of Atlanta with a group of mismatched survivors, Zippy and her mother must find ways to navigate this new world as well as their relationship following a tragic mishandling of a young girl's mistake.
