The story I'm going to write would more or less follow that of lmk, but I would change a good part of the series story. The villains would be changed and invented.
I watched the series journey to the west a long time ago, when I was a child, my memories are blurred.

It was a normal day for Sun Wukong and the other pilgrims. They have just defeated a new demon who is trying to eat the monk to gain immortality and power. Their journey continues until a light teleports them somewhere.
The light brings them to a room. The celestial, demon and humans are also present. Some panic and others with weapons nearby. Then a voice rings out.
''Hello everyone, no need to panic I don't want any harm.'' The voice reassured.
''Who are you and what do you want.'' Orders the Jade Emperor.
''I come from another world, I brought you here to see the future.'' explains the voice
Why? asks some confused.
''I'm bored (and because it doesn't get out of my head until I write😒)'' justified the voice, while people sweated from this justification.
''And to be more serious, it's so that you fix some mistakes.''
''What mistake?''
''It's up to you to find out. Let's start...''
