Megumi looked down to his lap, fiddling with his hands. A shaky exhale came out, “Yuji, I’m doing this for you. You’re my best friend and I know you do a lot for me.”
Best friend. Yeah it was true, but it still felt like a stab through his chest.
“I think it’s time for me to show my appreciation, too.”
