Sad facts about Spirals of Fire
1. Lu Ten’s death resulted in Ruei never meeting Yura. In turn, Yura died due to his unborn child dying inside him; Rue followed after being left with no food or water and died without ever receiving his name.
2. Ruei was still barely able to mourn because Ozai took the throne after killing Azulon the night Lu Ten was brought back in their attempt to save him; thus, Zuko never got close, or Ura lost the bottle of poison and was forced to perform for the New Fire Lord
3. After a week, he was up for grabs since he was promised to the Prince, and when Ozai considered it, the healers checked Ruei to see if he was pure. When it was found out that he wasn't, he considered that used goods were given to Zhao and that he was stripped of his title of Royal High-End Omega, and was then placed in the same category as his mother figure, Bea.
4. Ruei had difficulty adjusting to the seas, often asking for help from Bea and Fahei. It wasn’t until Zhao realized that Ruei was writing them for help that he ended it.
5. While growing up, and since there was no Omega Prince at the time, Ming never went to battle on his Father’s ship. He ended up in his own rank and never became enslaved. He later fell in love with an Alpha Earth Bender.
6. After Kai’s birth at sea, Ruei became ill and had to be on bed rest for weeks. Bea took over caring for Kai and Ruei so he could recover. It was one of these days that Zhao forced a weakened Ruei to work. When he couldn’t stand on shaky legs, Bea’s instincts kicked in, and he attacked Zhao because the Alpha had started to slap Ruei, and Bea's instincts kicked in, which ended in a rather severe beating.
7. When Fahei found out he attacked Zhao, almost killing him if other Admirals hadn’t stepped in, it was brought to court, and Fahei was told to get better control over his Omega.
8. Zhao knew that Bea and Ruei treated each other as mother and child, and with his fast-climbing rank, he suggested to Ozai once that out-of-control Omegas could be trouble. It was known that Bea felt safe with Fahei, enough so to speak his mind to the Alpha.
9. Ozai had blueberry tea placed in Bea’s favorite mint tea, and while all the Omegas were dancing for the new Court Omegas who were of age, Bea died from an allergic reaction when his servants found him falling on the floor.
Fahei was at Sea.
10. Fahei fell into a depression, not caring if anyone stripped him of his rank and title. His Bea was gone and he had no reason to live. Ming had tried to convince his father to live for Bea’s memory, and when he did, Ming believed he was able to help his Father through the heartbreak when, in reality, Ozai had threatened Fahei’s youngest child because he looked the most like Bea. Ming never knew.
11. Kai was silent when Zhao dragged Zuko into the main cabin of the ship because he had been hit and dragged by his hair before, and being silent was safer than speaking when Father was around.
12. Azula was always fighting to keep herself safe, constantly worrying about being taken out. Being as smart as she is knew that all the deaths weren’t an accident. She became so untrusting that when she used fear on her friends, she believed that was the only way to have love.
13. Ruei was in charge of sending off new Omegas because Bea was dead, thus making Ruei the best fan dancer in the nation. Even after he sent off the new Omegas, he was constantly reminded not to corrupt them, since he was impure while married.
14. Han Yi was four when he heard people speaking of his parents, and at five, he heard the name Lu Ten being tossed around near him. At five, he pretended not to hear while becoming skilled at sneaking around, listening for any information. When he was seven, he found he had been called the dead Prince’s Bastard Child, being born out of wedlock.
Later, he found that his Mother was alive and called Ruei.
Han Yi kept it a secret because once he was aware of who the Court Omega was, he knew that not only was he alive but that he had a half-sibling named Kai.
15. Kai sobbed when he presented as an Alpha because he was relieved that his Father wouldn’t kill him if he had presented as an Omega. It took hours for Ruei to get him to come down from his hysterical crying.
16. Fahei drank for years, anything and everything, sometimes even taking pills. The house he held in the high-end court was kept like a museum; all of Bea’s stuff remained in his place where it was. The only time it was moved was to clean and dust it.
Fahei always kept Bea’s favorite fan on him, tucked away in his armor, and a small wedding portrait of them.
17. Tani had a crush on Azula before she was sent away. She had made a stuffed bear for her because she heard the Princess mention she saw a real bear once and wanted to give her something. When she did, being a high royal court Omega, she was filled with glee when Azula smiled at her. Little did she know that sealed her fate. The next day, she was shipped off to her wedding to an old Alpha, who let her keep her doll, but the wedding night was very painful.
18. Hokoda never found out what happened to his brother. Always assuming he was either out there alive and living his life. It wasn’t until Sokka found the scrolls of people who died in the Fire Nation that he found out that Yura died alone in a cell, later finding the bones of his brother and several small bones in little graves.

1. Ruei was able to regain his title when Iroh became Fire Lord and claimed he had been married to Lu Ten. Ruei was able to have his own room with no restrictions, and he even put pictures of his family in it.
2. Zuko could heal and travel the world with the others. They ran into Jet and his pack a few times; it took a while but Jet’s hate for the Fire Nation slowly fizzled, and to everyone's surprise, he became close with the Fire Omegas who still lived in Ba Sing Se
3. The Northern Water Tribe was invited to the Fire Nation as the Omegas they saved and housed wanted to show their thanks with food and drinks, and he could see them dance with fans.
4. Han Yi told a five-year-old Kai they were blood brothers, expecting some questions. He didn’t expect Kai to cling to him for almost two weeks and gave up trying to get the kid out of his bed as his brother asked him a billion questions.
5. Ruei was able to claim Han Yi as his son openly and was able to walk around freely. Falling on old habits, he slowly learned that he didn’t have to jump when they told him to do anything and even fell into a fit of giggles when he told an Alpha no without fear.
6. Ruei was able to ask Fahei for some of Bea’s robes so he could have something of his own, and he even used Bea’s favorite fans when dancing as a tribute to him.
7. Kai grew close to Sokka, often asking how he fought without bending. Soon, he began to train under him, and while Sokka went across the world, he’d take Kai with him for weeks at a time so he could train from all four of the Nations.
8. Han Yi wasn’t sure what to do when they raised the marriage age to eighteen, so he asked for Fu. When there was a debate over how to let the Omegas choose, it came down to whether they would refuse, and the Alpha had to back down.
Fu said yes so fast at fourteen that Han Yi’s ears turned red, and Wei never let him live it down. Han Yi and Fu had a slow courtship and romance until Fu turned eighteen, when they were married.
9. Zuko and Sokka put off having children because they wanted to make sure that they helped fix as much as they could, but when Zuko fell pregnant, they decided to return to the palace to raise the baby while still doing what they could.
10. Kai knew he didn’t like Omegas at ten when everyone started getting crushes, and the crushes he did have were all Alphas. He didn’t hide it or say it out loud, and he really didn’t think anyone knew. His one crush had been his pack leader, Pi Lee. Unknown to him, Long Fei was jealous of this.
11. Ruei made clothing for all his children and grandchildren, with Izumi being the first. He made a blanket with the Sun and Moon on it, along with the dragons and Weapons the Alpha used.
12. Kai was Izumi’s favorite because he’d play with her, no matter what game it was. When she wanted to act out the hero in her storybooks, Kai would pretend to be the cursed Omega under a spell, often using a curtain and pretending he was in Omega's robes while she saved him.
13. Zuko, Han Yi, and Kai sneak down to the kitchen when they're all at the palace to eat sweets and drink honey milk while discussing their adventures. These conversations lasted long into the night until the sun peeked, and they would clean up the mess while often apologizing to the cooks and servants who were barely waking to make food for the day.
14. Tani would go on to live mostly with the Northern Water tribe, experience what a loving family was, and Azula would come to see her so often that when they returned to the Palace, they had assumed they had mated. When they did mate, Tani had no idea that pleasure was real and felt loved.
Azula panicked, thinking she had gotten pregnant the first night.
15. Azula has tea with Ruei, and they spend time at the beach, where Azula taught him how to swim when she found out he couldn’t, and the only reason he was alive back when they were forced onto Zhao’s ship had been because the Alpha had yanked him out.
16. Ruei buried Fahei when he passed, and the Alpha had a smile on his face when he died and a note saying he was going to see Bea. Even while feeling the pain of losing them both, he couldn’t help but feel peace that they were together again.
17. In the Spirit world, Fahei and Bea reunited, with Fahei running towards Bea, who was rushing down a hill, young again, looking nineteen when they first met, and when Fahei was able to grab and spin him around, he was back to that of a twenty-year-old. Bea laughed joyfully as he was spun and kissed on his neck, then lifted and spun in a circle, their laughter echoing so that even the living swore they heard it on the wind.
18. When Izumi became Fire Lord, she held a family dinner a few days later. All her family was there, along with her cousins, and even though they were a royal family, that didn’t stop the games, the pranks, and so on.
Han Yi and Fu had three children; Azula and Tani had twins; Kai and Long Fei had taken in two orphans, claiming them as their own; Aang and Katara had three; and Toph had a couple, refusing to say who their father was, and she was an only Child.
Zuko loved his family, and they loved him.
