Summary
His second client, Nabi, was host to the Sludge Villain that had once attacked Izuku and Katsuki in their last year of middle school. That’s who he was going to see today, and hopefully Nabi was home. Izuku really needed more than just a damn sandwich.
“Ah - Emerald, what a surprise.”
They knew his real name, but he supposed they got off on calling him something else.
“Are you in need of funds, or did you miss me?” The voice was mixed, two voices crashing together. They were both speaking. Izuku was used to telling them apart.
“Need cash. More than usual.”
“And are you willing to work for it?” That was Sludge.
“Always.” Izuku flicked his cigarette into the street before shouldering past Nabi.

OR: Izuku is an informant in the underground, forced to do anything to survive, including selling his body and his analysis skills. A wake up call brings him back to the hero world, but the underground reuses to let Izuku go.
