You won't believe what had happened to me!'

Chan quickly looked up from his phone. Juladis stormed into their apartment, throwing his suitcase on the floor. Chan's heart struck at his boyfriend's pout. He wanted his boss to reconcile with his lover, but he hated that he had to hurt his own lover in the process. Juladis shook his jacket off and began to ramble.

'First of all, while we were waiting for you, the intern, Lin, kept looking at me like I was crazy. I was crazy, looking for you everywhere! 'He must bring us some documents,' ha! Then after I sent the poor boy ahead of me, some fricking idiot bumped into me, all red and suspicious. Look at my phone! The screen is cracked, but I let it go because I am a good person, but then I went to the lady at the counter and she was like sir, you look different, and I look at the passport and it's not mine! I must have swapped it with that bastard, he's probably some kind of a criminal, so I ran after him, but I couldn't find him and missed the flight just like that! Can you believe it?!'

At the end of his rant, Julalis' cheeks were flushed and he was slightly out of breath. Chan wanted to object that the 'criminal' was also one of Gems of Siam's employees, but he didn't. Instead, he feigned surprise and hoped it was good enough to hide the truth from his partner.

'Ahh, sorry about the flight my love,' said Chan sweetly and opened his arms, 'but at least you can be with meee.'

Juladis gave him a tired smile and let out a big breath. ‘That’s true,’ he mumbled and went to Chan’s arms. However, when he put his amrs on Chan’s shoulders, the older’s phone buzzed. A message popped up because his conversation with Sun was still open.

P’Sun: We just landed. Thank you for your help, I owe you.

P’Sun: Economy sucks, please change our return tickets to 1st class.

Both men froze. They stared at the screen until it dimmed. Chan's lips began to tremble when his boyfriend leaned away from his arms. He wanted to laugh for some reason.

'You said that your boss has some meeting at the company, didn't you?' asked him Juladis.

Chan gulped. 'Yeah?'

'Chan.'

'Yeah?'

'So how could he just have landed?' Juladis' face was unreadable, which scared Chan even more. He smiled awkwardly.

'Fast meeting, probably?'

'Why did he travel by economy?'

'Because... because he...,' Chan was genuinely lost for words. He hoped at least Sun and Lin had a night of their lifetime, while he was fearing for his life. Not only was he afraid of his boyfriend getting mad at him, rightfully though, he was also afraid that he would realize what was happening, and why Sun and Lin had to travel together. Thankfully, Juladis was still a little clueless. He tilted his head with a horrified expression.

'Is he spying on Lin?' Juladis shouted suddenly, clasping his hands, 'But he's a good kid, he really is, I swear. Don't tell me he wants to scare him off or something! His little friend group had great ideas so far!'

Juladis looked worried and Chan wanted to pinch his cheeks, but he shook his head. 'It's not that, he's not spying on him. It's not much of a business trip, more like -little business, more fun- trip.’

His partner’s mouth opened, but no words came out. He looked less confused, more stunned. Chan grabbed his hands. ‘I can’t tell you anything else, and you must keep this to yourself Ju, please,' he begged him.

The man looked at him funny, leaning away from the older. 'You can't tell me? I take care of Lin and his group, I am their supervisor! And he took my dream trip away from me! I have to know.' Juladis sat on his left leg and pouted again.

'If you really loved me, you would tell me.'

'Juladis,' warned him Chan. 'It is about my boss. About your future boss as well.'

A few seconds passed in silence. Both men stared each other down. Then, Juladis clicked his tongue and his whole demeanor changed. 'Okay. So you won't tell me?'

The older man nodded.

'Hmm, then should I ask the boss directly? Why does he bother my staff?' he said, licking his lip. Chan went to protest, but instead, the other man pushed him down on the couch, quickly climbing on top of him. 'Question why he makes his secretary lie to his boyfriend? Should I call from your phone and ask?'

Their faces got very close. Chan knew Juladis was bluffing, yet he felt his heartbeat in his ears.

'You wouldn't,' he said lightly, looking into the deep brown eyes, their noses nearly touching. The older put a hand on his boyfriend’s hip, to stabilize him. They were very, very close, and Juladis smirked. He pressed down even further, faces millimeters from each other. He stayed there, studying Chan's face.

Suddenly, Juladis rose and sat on his lap fully. He put his arm on the couch and hid his mouth in his palm, trying to look as sulky as possible. He pitifully looked into the distance. Chan had also straightened up, but his hands never left Juladis' body.

'I'm sorry, but you will know soon. Probably. I won't lie to you again baby, and I will take you on a real trip very soon,' Chan said carefully, still feeling bad about hurting him.

'You can never have a vacation because of him,' he complained, still not looking at him.

'Well, if I explain what this trip has caused, maybe he would be more lenient to me. I'm so sorry my love.'

Juladis glanced at him, voice still muffled. 'How sorry are you?'

Chan's eyes darkened. He took Juladis' palm and kissed it. 'Deeply sorry. Want me to show you how much?' he asked. His lover nodded, and he went to mouth at his neck.

Chan briefly wondered what was happening between his boss and the intern, but Juladis' other hand tugging at his hear, and his sweet sighs, took every thought that wasn't about him away.
