Summary
Illumi's has come to realize that despite the devotion he feels for them, his family will never love him or consider him good enough. Tough pills to swallow but made incredibly sweeter by the fact that Illumi has found a source of real, genuine affection in Hisoka. His family does not love him but perhaps all he really needs in life is that one person who loves him despite and because of all of his flaws. But what does he do when said person is about to enter into a death match, one Illumi is sure he will lose?
Illumi quickly finds there is very little he won't do to protect the one person who's ever truly loved him.Hisoka wakes up on an island with no memory of why or when he arrived. Illumi is quick to fill in the blanks and for a while Hisoka is happy to accept Illumi's excuses. The island vacation is everything Hisoka could have asked for and more and he relishes the opportunity to deepen his relationship with Illumi. But as things continue to not add up and Illumi dodges his questions, Hisoka has to seriously consider that there may be more going on than meets the eye. Will Hisoka be able to unravel the pieces in time for his fateful match?
