    Vox had accused Alastor of finding it easy to get rid of him, and for the longest time, Alastor had thought it was. Was content to let Vox think the radio demon had cast him off like an old jacket, one that he'd grown tired of. He'd refused to think about the fact that for over two decades, Vox was one of his dearest friends.

    All this time, he'd been searching for an answering signal. One that hadn't been present for years, and when it had vanished, Alastor had hardly paid it any mind, too focused on maintaining the indifference he'd built up towards the other Overlord.

    Maybe he'd become soft, living with Charlie and her friends.
