Summary
Jane has refused to say a word to her new husband since an argument on the first night of their honeymoon about curing his predicament. It's easy enough to avoid him in the day when he's off galloping in a meadow or munching on hay in the stables, but when night falls she's barely managed to avoid the urge to speak to his stupidly handsome face.
Guildford has never been more frustrated and attracted in his life to the stubborn woman he now calls a wife, who will not let him apologise for shouting at her on their first evening alone. She's been irritatingly elusive and her stubbornness is really grating at his nerves.
However, Guildford finally manages to catch Jane alone; it doesn't matter if he has to walk in on her bathing to force her to listen. After all, they are married...
