His soft snoring.
The way the scent of the shampoo he used that morning still lingered on his hair.
How his body fit perfectly in his embrace.
Just everything about him brought a sense of joy to Vlad. Never in a million years would he have expected to experience being loved, but lying in bed with Danny, being the big spoon to his little one, felt like all the pieces he’d been missing finally came together.
He nuzzled his head against the top of his little badger'’s head, leaving a small kiss on it as he whispered his name softly before eventually falling asleep as well…
Danny was happy that Vlad felt comfortable enough to let his guard down to express his feelings in a non-combative and healthy way, but did he really need to cuddle with him in the middle of summer!? Like, he loved the man, don't get him wrong, but there was currently a record heat wave going on outside and Vlad’s fire core was not helping matters at all. He could literally feel his pajamas being drenched in sweat as his boyfriend only pulled him closer.
He was going straight to the Far Frozen tomorrow to ask Frostbite on how to use his ice powers as an AC unit.
