Chapter Text
The moon shined fully through the spaces between tree branches, sending rays of moonlight to a collapsed dark hedgehog. Critters could be heard in the shadows of the woods, when suddenly they scattered in the distance by the sudden arise of the mysterious hedgehog.
He started to pant, as if awaken by a nightmare, his gaze lifted up to the full moon, and suddenly a sharp pain stabbed through his abdomen, he was famished. His groans echoed, as his claws dug into his furred skin, he began to drool like a rabid dog.
He stumbled onto his feet and frantically looked around for sustenance, his eyes darting through the trees and bushes, he quickly turned at the sound of a stepped branch and lunged his body towards it. His nostrils were rapidly filled with the scent of blood and just as swiftly he dug his sharp canines into the palm of a beast twice his size.
In that exact moment, the beast pinned his body onto the ground with one hand and growled bearing its fangs, the dark hedgehog gazed up at a blue werewolf, blood and saliva running down the damp fur on its mouth; red covered its giant sharp hands, the fur on its collar dripped with the same hot substance, as blood of its own soiled the white fluff on the carnivorous dark hedgehog.
The blue werewolf began to lean its canines lower, ready to rip the hedgehog into pieces, but was then stopped as the hedgehog ran his claws across its face, giving him a chance to get off its grasp. In that moment, he lunged once again, aiming for the blood that pumped through its neck. His fangs sank deep, causing the werewolf to yelp, the werewolf shook its whole body, flinging the hedgehog onto a tree, making him let out a pained gasp at impact.
They both stared each other down as they beared their fangs at one another. The blood gushed out of the werewolf’s neck, only revolting the hedgehog further into aggression; the werewolf kept its stance, wincing at the pain, finally, it launched itself at the hedgehog, biting its arm, almost crushing its bones in its jaw.
As the blood spilled into the werewolf's mouth, followed with a whine, the hedgehog used his supernatural strength and clawed its jaw open, scratching its face once more. As the beast shuffled away from him, suddenly out of no where, it quickly began to whine, trying to remove something off its mouth, pain then followed, its body experiencing a internal transformation, slowly moving to its physical form as its bones bend inwards gruesomely.
The hedgehog watched curiously still with its aggressive expression, as he held onto his limp arm that was swiftly regenerating, he began stepping forward, ready to take his pray at last, before pausing at the familiar sound of its human like groans. He watched as the beast finally took on a humanoid form, very similar to him, he quickly recognized his body.
“A hedgehog?..”
He continued, stopping right in front of the now exhausted and limp blue hedgehog, it seemed that it had finally become unconscious from the excruciating transformation.
The dark hedgehog, fully recovered, now kneeled down before his foe, and bore his fangs again, preparing to drain his blood dry, just before he could sink his teeth, he was impaled with a small and long stick. He instantly turned to the cause, and as soon as he attempted to stand, he stumbled back down to his knees, his vision became blurred, he tried to focus at this new adversary, only to make out the silhouette of a caped two tailed entity, holding what seemed like crossbow.
The dark hedgehog tried to reach his menacing hands at it, but to no avail, collapsed, the last thing he saw being the sole of the new foe.
“Do you think he’ll be alright, Prower?..”
“I sure hope so.. quick, we need to tie him up, I’m afraid I’m not too sure of the potency against his kind.”
The last thing he heard, followed with the tightness of rope, he was finally unconscious.
