   Nora Feyre was a middle-aged math teacher with a sketchy past, questions about her identity, and an unhealthy enjoyment of killing.

   Astarion was a vampire spawn who thirsted for blood, freedom, and revenge on his cruel master.

   When a Mindflayer ship kidnaps them and drops them into a fight for survival, neither wants to catch feelings for anyone, let alone for each other. Even long after these two idiots had already fallen in love, it takes all of Karlach's best efforts to keep them from fucking it up.

   A slow burn, canon-respectful but divergent retelling of the main plot of BG3. Emphasis on divergent.
