Ganyu was amazed at the question, it was that impossible question that no matter how hard you contemplated and sat in the corner of every room of your house just hoping for an answer to come to you, it would never come.
Within a minute of no answer and no response, Childe added, "I won't get mad at your answer." like that helps at all.
"It's not that, Childe," Ganyu finally said, "I just can't come up with an answer for you."
She thought about it, she raced through every track in her mind, thinking of what would happen if she said one or the other. She's always been a chronic overthinker.
"I like you both equally, Childe!" She said with a smile.
"There's no both, it's one or the other."
Again, she stood there, "I just can't choose. How am I supposed to choose?"
