"I just need to calm down. Need to... Need to have restraint," Paulo admits. "It's all just instincts, you know? Just instincts. Even now, I smell you and I want to—" the alpha catches himself, grimacing at whatever he originally wanted to say.
"Yes. It's all instincts, I get it," Felip agrees. "But you can't eat here, Pau. Come inside. Let's eat together."
"That's... No, Felip. You can't be alone with me," Paulo says as he stands up, stepping away from the omega.
"It's okay, Pau," Felip says softly. "I trust you."
Felip is a late bloomer. Presenting as an omega in the middle of a dance competition and getting his heat triggered by an alpha close to his age. The alpha, Paulo, offers to take him home to a safe place where no other alpha could hurt him. Felip's never met an alpha as kind and gentle as Paulo, he thinks his trust isn't misplaced.
