Chapter 1: an offering

Chapter Text

izuku midoriya was such a happy and kind pup. even before he presented, the people in his pack had already kissed and worshipped the ground he had walked on.

they knew he was destined to be the greatest and kindest mother omega his pack had ever seen.

at the age of seventeen, his village— his hometown had already knew of his name. it had even spread out to other neighboring packs around their forest!

seventeen year old izuku; seemingly blessed by the gods with his green curly hair, his body built with equal parts of muscle and smoothness; curves that resembled the carvings of divine statues. his feet were always bare when seen running around their village chasing after the little pups who sought after the omega’s warmth and playfulness, and yet when thoroughly checked by his mother, was always smooth and soft and milky.

even his mother was curious how even mother nature bent the rules for her golden child.

izuku was the picture perfect omega. he was born to be the most beautiful in all of the surrounding lands. and to better preserve and protect his beauty, their pack leader, alpha yagi has taken him and his mother under his wing. once the teenager had presented at 15, sir yagi had started him with their pack’s signature defensive and offensive skills of attacking. it had been passed down by 8 generations and was now being harbored and evolved into izuku’s own fighting style.

toshinori and inko had watched as izuku fully grew into what he was today. he was beautiful, strong, and smart. though being an omega, the pack had all silently— happily even— come to terms that sir yagi had picked the next in line to be the pack’s leader. the 19 year old omega, midoriya izuku.

izuku would have been crowned as the very first ever omega pack leader in the forest’s history.

izuku had been born with it all— looks, strength, smarts, and seemingly the perfect life. yet, there was one thing he was not born with: luck.

unfortunately, that was what he needed most.

izuku clutches at his stomach. thirsty, hungry and so, so tired.

it had been exactly two weeks since the fall of his pack. it all happened so fast; in a blink of an eye, his village was engulfed in flames. he remembers screaming and thrashing out onto the shoulders of his mentor, his pack leader as he ran, keeping izuku in a tight grip as he was being chased by the rouge alphas that attacked their village.

he remembers seeing all the pups that he plays with being loaded into a wooden cage strapped onto a makeshift carriage, once full was ridden away far from where he and toshinori— and his mom that was perched onto the other shoulder of the big alpha were running to.

after what felt like hours, toshinori had taken a break as he lost the two rouge alphas that were chasing them a while back. though the break was short lived when his mom and the pack leader had heard them from a little distance. the two adults look at each other and give a firm nod as they turn to izuku, who was still sniffling as he tried to reason with them.

“mom, alpha, we need to save them,” he pleads, going on his knees as a fresh stream of tears make their way out of his emerald eyes.

toshinori sighs as he also bows down. the footsteps are getting nearer as it slowly sinks into him. “midoriya izuku. you need to live. inko and i will hold the rouges back here. you need to run, okay?” his voice is soft, yet his words ground izuku as he freezes.

why? why only him? why can’t they all go and save the pack? why does he have to run?

he shakes his head stubbornly, not wanting liking the situation. he could be of help! he has trained just for moments like this. he was about to sing another series of protests when he felt his mom’s firm touch on his shoulder.

just like toshinori, inko had also accepted their fate. all she’ll ever want is to protect her son. that would be more than enough. “izu. me and toshi will fend them off with our lives. but you,” her voice wavers, but she needs to be strong for her little baby. “you need to live, okay? you were destined for great things.”

the footsteps get closer and seemingly faster, and both adults scrambled onto their feet. izuku understands their resolves, and yet he was still frozen in place, not wanting to leave his mom and alpha leader alone. inko sighs and unties something behind her neck. she reaches out to his wrist, tying a necklace with a red jewel hung on the thread. the jewel looked like it was a piece of something that was once whole, but he had no time to question as toshinori also wrapped a piece of his his torn short onto the omega’s neck.

“keep these with you all the time, okay izu? this stone will be able to help you one day.” she smiles at him, and leans in to kiss her baby’s forehead one last time.

he huffs out another sob before he looks at toshinori once more; the alpha is smiling at him with his usual grin and he pats the omega’s head, as if they were going to meet again tomorrow like when he usually gains the pat after classes. “the scent on my shirt is strong, my boy. don’t get close to too much people, okay? you’ll do fine. you’re our pack’s pride and joy, after all.”

izuku sobs quietly onto his newly acquired scarf like cloth as he dashes away from his mom and mentor. he looks back again one last time, catching as inko and toshinori come face to face with the feral alphas and he turns his head. he runs, never looking back because he knew . there was nothing  to look back to anymore.

izuku shakes off the memories as he slowly comes face to face with an old building. he turns his back and gently slides onto the land beneath his trembling feet. he huffs out a painful whine as he closes his eyes. he had been running for three days straight, now finding himself to a seemingly unclaimed territory.

“oh look what we have here,” a voice says to his right. the omega jumps to his feet, his fists raised defensively. before he could fully register the two alphas infront of him, his mind fades to black as he felt a metal rod clang onto his nape, making him pass out.

izuku is tired. he has been deprived of any rest for seven days now. and although the alphas were kind enough to feed him three pieces of bread and a jug of water, it had been three days since he was last offered any. the last time he was fed was also the last time he was still able to see where they were headed. his vision was cut off by a brown sack being tied onto his head. he could still breathe though, which he found great.

throughout the seven days of his non-consensual travel with these alphas, he was glad they did not touch him inappropriately like the stories once told in the village. they just manhandled him and did not care for his well-being, is all. “i could still live like this, ” he thought to himself, desperately convincing himself there was a positive side to his condition right now.

their travel comes to an abrupt stop as he hears his captors conversing with someone else. he registers the clanking of what seemed like a metal gate before he was again shoved to walking on his bare feet. though he enjoyed frolicking before, almost four weeks of running had his feet wanting to never touch the ground again.

he hears slight murmurs of people around him as he was pushed once again, though he barely notices how the scenery around him had felt cold, like he has now entered a big hut.

bloody, injured, and tired dusty feet slowly get dragged inside the crimson, cold floor of the leader’s glorious hut. the omega yelps as he is thrown harshly towards the middle of the room, hissing as his already bruised knees hit the ground.

“o great alpha, we bring you an offering!” one of the— the omega assumes there were at least three people that yanked him off of the streets— alphas said proudly, unaware of the slow yet steady scent of anger oozing out of the covered throne.

“an offering .” the alpha repeats with a low growl.

there was a loud screech heard in the large space— a chair abruptly pushed backwards, the omega thought as he, and the entourage of foolishly brave alphas froze from the overpowering aura brought by the man behind the red curtains.

“can one of you stupid fucktards explain why your offering is trembling, bruised, and bagged ?! ” the alpha snarls, slowly coming out of the crimson silks that were hiding him mere seconds ago.

“i’m not fully bagged,” izuku thinks to himself. he scrambles to sit properly on his knees, trying to make himself presentable though proven naught.

the omega, who has a brown, filthy sack on his head and his wrists tied tightly together on his back does not see how the alpha— much, much larger than any of the grown men in the room stops in his tracks. izuku is not aware how katsuki silently orders his guards to muzzle and take the men away. he doesn’t know anything about what’s happening until he smells the powerful scent of fire wood and caramel slowly make its way to him. it’s overwhelming and warm, he thinks as he finally succumbs to the sleepiness he’s been deprived off.

“you need to live,” the wishes of his mom and his pack leader screech as they get attacked by the feral rogues.

izuku gasps awake, clutching at his heart as he rises from the soft bed he was placed in. he looks around the room, not finding anything— nor anyone— but himself. he looks down on his body, humming confused as he was now dressed in a simple white romper? he doesn’t know what to call this foreign piece of clothing on him. “it’s nice.” he mumbles to himself, slowly touching the silky smooth fabric.

he grins in relief when he sees the necklace, well bracelet, of his mom still on his wrist. though he gasps when he feels around his neck, the fabric of the leader’s shirt nowhere near him. he begins to breathe panicked breathes as he looks around the room once again, but comes to a stop when the door to his right slowly opens; revealing a brunette woman wearing the same clothing as him, who had the cloth tucked and folded in her arms as she slowly peaks into the room.

the woman, who izuku registers as an omega because of her smell, greets him with a smile before fully making her way inside the room and closing the door. she holds the fabric out for him to hesitantly take back, bowing his head slightly as a thanks before burying his nose in it.

“it still smells like sir toshinori,” he smiles to himself.

“uhm, hello! you might be a little freaked out by everything that’s happened to you, but nothing to fear here. you’re in our pack’s medical house. i’m ochako uraraka, the head nurse!” she cheerfully reaches her hand out again, this time waiting as izuku slowly took it and shakes lightly.

“i’m izuku. izuku midoriya.” he says, barely looking up at her when he does.

uraraka smiles. she’s been a nurse since she was 15, so she had built patience towards her clients. after handing him a tall glass of warm water to ease his throat, she finds herself sitting across from him on the bed, a little clipboard with an information shit ready to be filled out on it. “so, izuku-kun, do you mind me asking you some questions? or we can just chill and hang out here, whichever you’d like!”

izuku smiles slightly when he feels her slowly pulling out her calming scent of bread and fresh wind. he feels at ease somehow, like he’d already known her for years. “uhm. we can get to the questions, ms. uraraka-san. b-but, can we.. maybe eat something? please?” he grins sheepishly.

uraraka gasps, her cheeks colored pink as she stutters out an apology. “oh god! s-sorry izuku-kun! i completely for-forgot!” izuku just giggled at her cute antics. they both come to a hault as the door opens once more; a ravenette making her way inside with a cart loaded of what smelt like heaven to izuku’s starved nose.

“uraraka, katsuki wanted me to bring him this once i confirmed he was awake.” the girl says. she turns to izuku and gives him a slight smile before prepping the meals onto the bed, within izuku’s reach. “ ‘m jirou. nice to meet you, omega-san!” she addresses awkwardly, which earns a little laugh from izuku.

“thank you for the food, jirou! and it’s izuku, my name.” he says shyly before eyeing the feast on his lap. he looks up to jirou and uraraka with the cutest puppy dog eyes as if he was waiting for their permission.

“you can go and eat, izuku.” jirou laughs out, finding the new omega absolutely adorable. she turns her head to the surprised uraraka. “lead- bakugou-kun? didn’t the food come from the pack’s kitchen?!” she asked, gaining composure as she watched izuku eat with his adorable stuffed cheeks.

“nope. katsuki made that for him.” she smiles. she was also bewildered when their pack leader had handed her the tray of handmade food from their enigma of a leader.

“how interesting, ” they both giggle, earning a little “hm? ‘wa ish?” from the cute omega infront of them, eating to his heart’s content.
