Chapter Text
A boring Friday on the U.A. high school, no one really wanted to be there, even the teacher was bored.
The class was death silent, the only voice you could hear was the tired voice of the teacher explaining the theme of the class.
"Kaminari, wake up!" the teacher said. "I know the class is boring, but you still need to know basic heroics. You know what, I don't care at this point. I will play a video compilation of heroes rescuing people and at the end of the class I want an essay about how you would act in these situations and why." After saying that, all you could hear were the sighs, complaints, and insults that the class was giving to their teacher.
Aizawa Shota (more known as Eraser Head) was already used to this behavior, so, completely ignoring the negative reaction of the students, he turned on the projector. The screen of his computer was projected on the classroom whiteboard. He opened YouTube and made a quick search for the video he was looking for. When he selected one, the screen completely blacked out but shortly went back to normal... for a few seconds before redirecting to a Twitter post.
Some of the few students that were paying attention looked at the screen in confusion. This rare situation dragged the attention of the rest of the class.
Aizawa was trying to close the post but he couldn't control his computer. While he was trying, the video of the post started playing.
● 🦀🐶 @Double_black
We hope you like our little message ;)
That was all that was said on the post. The video was currently a black screen but after a few seconds it showed two teenagers.
"We already have almost 600k viewers, so let's start," one of the two teenagers began to talk, the bandaged one more specifically. "Hello Musutafu City, we have a little message for you! We are recording this in Yokohama, yes, you heard it right, the infamous city known by the outsiders as the 'Japanese living hell.' Well, that is not really the point, so mind explaining what we are gonna do today, Chibi?"
The class was shocked. Did that boy mention Yokohama? The city ruled by evil ability users? The city known for being covered by an unbreakable barrier to keep heroes away? That Yokohama?
"Don't call me that, you stupid mackerel!" the ginger bickered. "I'll move the camera so they can see what's behind us." The mentioned ginger moved the camera a little bit closer as the two teenagers moved apart, giving a detailed view of four pro heroes. The four members of the Pussycats were there, chained up on the floor with ropes on their mouths. "As you can see, we captured these weird furry pro heroes trying to sneak into Yokohama, and this is not the first time this has happened this year. So here is your last warning." The two boys moved closer to the pro heroes.
Was that a gun?!
The bandaged boy pointed a gun at one of the heroes' heads, Ragdoll to be specific. He shot her, not once, not twice, but six times in the head and chest. < Then he went to the only man there, pro hero Tiger. Before doing something, the guy spoke, "Maybe I can get you a costume like this the next time you lose a bet, Chuuya." The ginger, now identified as 'Chuuya,' started bickering for a while with the other guy. "Well, enough of these distractions. I want to go to the arcade as soon as possible, so let's finish this quickly."
All of the spectators were astonished. Two teenagers were talking about going to the arcade while killing pro heroes. That was beyond the line of maniacs.
Then, while everyone seeing the post was shocked, another shot was heard, and that shot was followed by another one, and by another one.
The four pro heroes were lying dead on the floor. "It's such a shame I wasted almost all of my bullets on that green-haired girl. I really wanted to play a little bit more, but I guess I had enough fun for today," the brown-haired guy let out a little creepy laugh. "Didn't you just say that you wanted to go to the arcade as soon as possible? Make your mind clear, shitty Dazai," Chuuya spoke. He moved closer to the camera. "Your world is black and white, but ours is grey. Nobody wants you stupid heroes around here. Take this video as your last warning. Stay away from Yokohama. We're sealed for a reason, not just for goddamn fun."
Then the video ended. All of the class was shocked. Some of them were pale, some others were crying and trembling, the rest were just in shock.
What had just happened? Nobody knew. They were all shocked and terrified, even Aizawa.
Mandalay, Pixie-Bob, Ragdoll, Tiger... were they really dead? All of them? At the same time? By the same person?
Not just the class, but everyone in Musutafu who was using any sort of Internet at that time saw the video. The whole city was in chaos. The police and pro heroes immediately started working on public announcements and investigating these two guys in the video.
Which kind of monsters would be capable of that? Nobody knew, and that was kind of a relief to everyone.
As the chaos continued to spread through Musutafu, news outlets picked up the story, broadcasting it on every available platform. Parents pulled their children out of schools, and businesses closed early. The once-bustling city turned into a ghost town as fear took hold.
In the U.A. high school, the teachers tried to regain control of their classrooms. Principal Nezu called an emergency meeting with the faculty. The usually composed and intelligent principal was visibly shaken.
"We need to address this immediately," Nezu said, his voice unsteady. "Our students are in a state of panic, and we must provide them with support and reassurance."
Aizawa nodded. "I'll take care of my class. We need to make sure they feel safe and understand that we're doing everything we can to protect them."
Back in the classroom, Aizawa turned off the projector and faced his students. "Listen, everyone. I know you're all scared, but I need you to stay calm. We're going to figure this out. The pro heroes are already on the case, and we'll get to the bottom of this."
Kaminari, still visibly shaken, raised his hand. "Mr. Aizawa, are we going to be okay? What if those guys come here?"
Aizawa's expression softened. "We're going to be okay. The school is equipped with top-notch security, and we have heroes here to protect you. But I need all of you to stay alert and follow the safety protocols."
As the day went on, rumors spread like wildfire among the students. Some claimed that they had seen more videos from the mysterious duo, while others speculated about their identities and motives. The atmosphere was thick with tension and uncertainty.
Meanwhile, in a port mafia building in Yokohama, the two teenagers from the video were watching the chaos unfold on multiple screens. They reveled in the fear and confusion they had caused.
"This is just the beginning," Dazai said, his eyes gleaming with malice. Now it's time to take things to the next level."
Chuuya smirked. "What do you have in mind?"
Dazai leaned back in his chair, a sinister grin spreading across his face. "You read the file, you know what we'll do next"
Back in Musutafu, the pro heroes were working tirelessly to track down the two culprits. Every lead, every clue was meticulously analyzed. Tensions were high as the city waited with bated breath for any news of progress.
The police and pro heroes set up a task force dedicated to capturing the two teenagers. Surveillance footage, eyewitness accounts, and online activity were all scrutinized in an effort to pinpoint their location. But the duo had covered their tracks well, leaving behind a digital trail that was almost impossible to follow.
As the days turned into weeks, the initial shock began to wear off, but the fear remained. Schools implemented stricter security measures, and the streets were patrolled by more heroes than ever before. Yet, the threat loomed large over the city.
In the U.A. high school, the students tried to return to some semblance of normalcy. Classes resumed, but the atmosphere was different. There was an underlying tension that hadn't been there before. The once lively and energetic school was now subdued and cautious.
Aizawa continued to monitor his students closely. He knew that the trauma they had experienced wouldn't just disappear overnight. He organized counseling sessions and encouraged them to talk about their feelings. He wanted to make sure they had the support they needed to process what had happened.
One evening, as Aizawa was liying on the chair of his office a call from the principal Nezu arrived, just how much annoying can this get?
