Summary
In the not-so-distant future, the Earth is a desolate place. Stripped of resources and in nigh-perpetual dust-bowls, non-human life is rare outside the carefully climate-controlled shelters where the majority of humanity hunkers in place, dehydrated and delusional, waiting for a miracle to save the world.
Chay is one of the last batch of astronauts trained and sent to orbit by the Thai Space Program. Tasked with a mission of six months, it's the perfect opportunity to escape all the bridges he just burned with his family– and his boyfriend. With half a year to cool his head as far away from it all as he can get, Chay completes his duties with a distracted mind. However, as six months turns into seven, and then nine, with no word from Mission Control, Chay must convince his crew to return to Earth unassisted, and uncover the truth behind their abandonment– and why the dusty-orange Earth they know is suddenly green.
