Summary
Before he can reach the shelf, his head feels like it’s splitting open, and his vision blurs. He’s hot all over, and his exhausted body can’t keep up. The last things he registers before the darkness are the sudden immobility of his muscles, losing control of bodily functions, and the distress of not having met his own goal.

Rei contracts a severe case of monster flu, leading to complications. Enter Edmond’s special physical therapy service: battle training as a way for Rei to regain use of his body. If it brings their mutual feelings for each other to the surface, so much the better. At least, if Rei’s grouchy, uncooperative attitude and Edmond’s waning patience don’t stand in their way. Cue nosy but supportive friends and a noisy but supportive Grand Sorcerer, and it just might work out.
