The 53 Days After
Summary:
Right after the end of the competition, Emma is stuck until her birthday. She is alone, slowly losing her mind. She can’t leave, and the watchers won’t leave her alone. She won’t make it, her sanity already slipping away.
(Super simple writing challenge to get me out of a writing slump.
Notes:

Chapter Text
Day 1: If she could be dead, she would be. She tried after all her friends died. She jumped but she respawned. The Watchers said it was because winners don’t die. She would respawn every time she died, her friends didn’t. They apparently are back on their server (the server from The Return to Home), but she can’t leave. The Watchers said she can leave on her birthday, so 53 days, 53 days in this hell. As the day ends, she knows 52 days to go. She won’t make it, she already feels numb. But no matter how hard she tries, she doesn’t stay dead.
