-Teo carries around a bunch of random stuff in his pockets and always seems to be around when someone needs a very specific thing he has
-Teo is able to and prefers to communicate with birds through whistles and clicks but will speak out loud for other people's convenience.
-All of the semi-dioses that competed in the trials gained new scars, Aurelio, Teo, and Niya have some of the worst ones due to the end of the world road trip
-Aurelio begins going to the yearly Quetzlan bird show in person and even stars as a guest judge a few times
-Teo and Marino both like to collect little trinkets and have started a tradition where they exchange a few every time they see each other (Marino's are almost always shells or pirate's glass, Teo's are usually pretty rocks or tiny carved wood/rock animals)
-Niya begins helping Teo work out after everything, Aurelio continues to as well
-The competitors made a shared playlist to add songs to, it has over 2,000 different songs and they all listen to it regularly (it's always a rollercoaster of emotions even without shuffle on)
-Aurelio begins baking and Teo will search for any ingredients he might needs
-Teo eats dried bugs as snacks and even ate a few live ones when he was younger, he also enjoys frog legs and lizards (bird/quetzal things)
-Speaking of bird things, Teo has sharp nails that are like talons, tilts his head when confused or curious, fluffs up his feathers when surprised or threatened, and will also subconsciously mimic random noises or other people like a parrot. (He picked up several of his habits from the birds themselves.)
-Teo will sometimes just sit high up in a tree and nap with the birds until someone comes and gets him
-Aurelio is gifted a small red parrot by Quetzal and Teo at one point and he takes care of it better than he takes care of himself, it will absolutely go and get Teo if he falls back into unhealthy coping mechanisms
-Teo regularly uses the birds to communicate with others long distance- specifically by having them deliver gifts- or in Aurelio's case, give him little pecks on the cheek
-Teo and Aurelio get matching necklaces (or bracelets) that have a sun and a moon respectively (Teo has the sun, Aurelio has the moon, this is inspired by the pins of them)
-Teo gifts feathers to his really close friends and those he considers family (Niya, Aurelio, Huemec, and Quetzal all have one, Xio would've eventually gotten one too). Aurelio wears the feather he was given as an earring and gifted Teo an earring that resembles a flame in return.
-There's this one specific young semi-dios girl with beetle features that loves hanging out with Teo, Ocelo eventually gets a younger sibling (with jaguar features like ears and a tail) that also loves hanging out with Teo.
-Xochi teaches the others how to make flower crowns, they use this power for evil (Making flower crowns and then going around and dropping them on each other's heads aggressively before running off)
-Teo loves to perch on Aurelio's shoulders, the first time he did it was for a prank, but it became a small ritual for him to just start doing it randomly. Aurelio got so used to it that he doesn't even blink when Teo does it anymore, just continues with what he was doing. They both find it funny when Teo does it in front of someone else, because they're always so confused. (All of the competitors eventually got used to it as well and don't pay them any mind.)
-The birds begin treating Aurelio the same as they do Teo and will crowd around him, perching on him or just hovering nearby. It's a breath of fresh air for Teo when he can step into the temple in Quetzlan and only have half the usual amount of crowding by the birds if Aurelio's with him.
-Teo has a specific bird assigned to each competitor based off of their vibes, only Niya and Aurelio know theirs. (I might actually look up birds later and come up with a list.)
-Teo’s room has dark green walls that are covered in posters of his favourite artists and just things in general. Every square inch of his shelves is covered in random trinkets and other things he's accumulated over the years.
-Teo's good at art, specifically graffiti art. He started going around and spray painting golden wings onto any picture he found of Aurelio outside just to fuck with him. Some people will also hire him to paint murals on the walls of their buildings.
-Teo gives Niya and Aurelio candy to give to the other competitors and eventually learns all of their favourite kinds to specifically get
-Teo has a habit of unofficially adopting any creature he finds, he gives every single one a name and somehow always remembers them. You could ask him to list every creature he's named and he could.
-Aurelio’s burn scars on his forearms will sometimes flare up so badly he can barely move his arms without pain. On those days, he'll just sit in bed or somewhere else comfortable and Teo or his sister will sit there with him and do their best to help ease the pain (it depends on whoever's with him, though occasionally they've both sat there in silence with him)
-Teo runs colder than most other people, so does Marino and Atzi, the twins run much hotter. Whenever one of the former three touches one of the latter two, it feels like touching ice or heated metal respectively.
-Niya absolutely begins stockpiling the candy Teo gives her so that she can have it at any time.
