   The sun rises and it sets over and over. Do you remember the last one you saw? Edwin Paine fears forgetting. The human brain is flawed, after all. He writes it all down. He wishes Charles Rowland would stop pestering him through time and space.

   Charles Rowland is brash and too old to call himself young and lives every moment like he wants to forget his last. He needs to write down every moment, though, because guilt is strange, and stronger that shame. He likes travelling. It's fun. It's okay, because Edwin Paine is always there to remind him how bad of a person he is.
