   Summary

   Catharsis in darkness.
When you can't seem to feel a thing.
   The absence that haunts you.
   Won't hurt much longer.
   .
   .
Following its reunion with the Void, the Hollow Knight's shade is sent back into the past - to a time just before its sealing. Its arrival derailing all that would become - and setting Hallownest on an uncertain path for the future.

A future made all the more unstable by the increasing tensions between the echo of what-once-was and its counterpart - the recently knighted Pure Vessel.
