   Summary

"You know what I think of you, hero? I think you're a half-measure. A man who can't finish the job. A coward. And you know the one thing you just can't see?” Frank leans forward, gravel-laced voice against Matt's neck, "You're one bad day away from being me."

   ***
An alternate version of the famous rooftop scene: where Matt finds light in the Punisher's darkness, and Frank finds a man behind the devil's mask. It all starts with chains, a city on its back, and blood drawn under charcoal skies.

Featuring our favorite human disasters, a found family, and ships that should’ve been canon—yes, Spideypool included.
