Chapter Text
Severus wasn't sure how he had gotten into this situation. He never imagined himself being in the Quidditch team for his Hogwarts House. He didn't even know when and where he turned out to be good enough to join the team, let alone play in a game. In front of people... of them ... In front of her .
He blamed Regulus. Mostly because it was his fault, Regulus knew Severus would never say no to him. Especially when they had been making out for what seemed like a lifetime, Severus' boner started to get in the way of his thinking. Regulus always knew when it was better to ask for something for his boyfriend.
He remembered Severus' hands gripping his thighs, and waist, grabbing on his hair as Severus gasped and bucked his hips. He almost forgot to ask as he just laid on the bed, long pale, yet, strong legs were wrapped around his lover's waist, where he later found them on his lover's shoulders was when he remembered.
He remembered seeing Severus' face filled with pleasure and love. His eyes were hooded and his hips never seemed to stop. He called his name, each vowel of Regulus' name sounded nothing more than erotic. He recalled whispering his lover's name, Severus being as attentive as he was, leaned in. The position caused Regulus to become more sensitive. "S-Severus!"
"Yes? What can I do for you, My Love?" Severus’ gruff voice seemed to clear up whenever his lover asked for just attention. "I-I need a favor..." Regulus' voice was soft, he seemed to be out of breath as his love kept going.
"Anything, Love. What must I do?" Severus asked, moving his lover's erotic legs off of his shoulders and onto his waist. "After I was moved to be a Chaser we are- short a Seeker! I need- ah! I need you to join, please! Just for one game!"
Severus, wanting to please his wonderful lover, really didn't think it through. "Of course, Love. I will do it. Do you need me to do anything else?" Severus asked out of habit, knowing anything that his partner asked he would do. Questioning Regulus was never something he did... Perhaps he should have started now.

"I can't believe you got him to agree!"
That was the first thing Severus heard out of his now-new teammates as he stepped into the training ground in full uniform. The uniform was unbelievably fitting. His waist was shown off and his legs, which had gained some muscles after other forms of exercise throughout the past few months, showed off just as his waist. The protective corset fit uncomfortably perfectly. The long sleeves and protective armor on his forearms brought attention to his upper body. He was lucky the dark green and silver cloak covered his ass. Regulus had been staring at his behind for what seemed hours before he even finished putting on the rest of the uniform.
The dark leather boots were tall enough to reach just below his knees. The laces tied tight enough to keep the boot secure but not cut off the circulation of his legs. Black fingerless leather gloves didn't stop Regulus from noticing those long pale fingers as he grabbed the flying broom he hadn't used in a while .
Barty Crouch Jr. had walked beside Regulus, placing his arm around his lover's shoulders. Almost every Slytherin knew the relationship between Severus and the youngest Black. Barty being who he was, loved messing with Severus. "How did you get Mister Snape to join our little crew?" He lifted an eyebrow with a teasing smile on his face. His tongue sneaked out of his mouth to lick the corner of his mouth as he laughed at the young Black's answer.
"Had to do a lot of begging, Severus is hard to convince." A flash of arousement and amusement made their way through Regulus' light stormy eyes. He knew he only ever needed to ask one time.
"I'm sure it took Severus hours to finally agree ." A snort left Barty's mouth. He, as much as Regulus, knew it only takes a simple question.
"Are we here to mock me or practice? We don't want another accident again, right Barty? I'm not sure your brain can take another concussion," Severus' voice was deep, he wasn't in the mood to get mocked, he already gets that enough.
"Fine Fine. We'll practice the play Regulus told you, okay?" One of the other players joined the conversation as he heard Severus was ready to practice.
Severus looked at his lover. A perfectly shaped eyebrow up as if he was amused, after all... Regulus had forgotten something.

The game announcer sat at the tallest tower of the stadium. The green grass of the field was bright and healthy. Students from every house sat on the seats. The Slytherins didn't hold many hopes of beating the Gryffindors as they had been defeated more times than they had won.
On the other hand, the Gryffindors sat on their seats confidently. They held the most consecutive wins of any Quidditch team thus far. They know they were in good hands, with Sirius Black as their Beater and James Potter as their Seeker. James and Sirius have done nothing but improve after every game they have played. Every Griffyndor sat there cocky.
'It seems like our players are ready to play some Quidditch!'
The stands roared with excitement. Stomping, clapping, and banging were heard. Students from all years and ages yelled, showing their excitement. The sounds overflowed as the Gryffindor players began their walk into the field.
James Potter, in all his glory, walked in front of all the other members of his team. He was the captain, a position everyone knew he was bound to get sooner than later. Sirius Black walked behind him, almost as they rehearsed it, once they stopped Sirius was the one that was the closest to the Captain, just one step behind his owner.
'As the Gryffindor Captain and Seeker, James Potter! Sirius Black as Beater! Timid Frank Longbottom as Chaser! Strong-headed Joseph Macmillan as Beater! William Brown as Keeper! As Chaser Carter Evandrous! And as our last Chaser Alastair Blishwick!'
Cheers, that were much too high pitched made their way into the air as Gryffindor girls and boys showed their much too big excitement. The other members lined themselves up beside their Captain waiting for the Slytherin team to appear. It was obvious their stances needed some more practice.
A few seconds had passed when the group finally stepped into the field. The Slytherin team Captain led the way. His long blonde hair was tied back. Lucius Malfoy, just a year older than Severus, led his team into the middle of the field. Once he stopped in front of James his teammate lined up . Severus to his right, Regulus to his left.
‘And it seems Gryffindor's worthy rival has joined them on the field. This match has been awaited for quite some time. As Slytherin’s Captain and Keeper Lucius Malfoy! As Chaser Charles Carrow! As Slytherin’s Beater Arthur Flint! Scowling Kingston Nott as Chaser! Murderous Barty Crouch Jr. as our gentle Beater! And in a surprising turn of events Regulus Black as Chaser! But it seems our beloved Slytherins have another surprise up their sleeves! As Slytherin's new Seeker.. Severus Snape! ’
Severus stood there. In front of Sirius. The Gryffindor’s eyes showed his confusion and uncontrollable surprise. Severus held his head up proudly and gave the other a fake polite smile. He was not going to give the boy satisfaction just because he had earned his right to hold something over Sirius. Even if it was a secret no one other than the Slytherins knew.
The stands were loud, pounding on the railing, and stomping of the creaking wooden stands, and hollering from various mouths filled the air.
“Allowing more rats into this pathetic thing you call a team , Malfoy?” Sirius said, catching James’ attention as he had been staring at Severus for an uncomfortable amount of time. Lucius was close to opening his mouth but was interrupted by his housemate.
“Get into Position, Black. We don't want those in the stands to start howling right?” Severus’ smile showed power, intelligence, knowledge, and most importantly… control. Control over his hard-headed and egotistical tormentors.
“You keep your mouth sh-” James began talking, however, Severus wasn't going to allow it. “ No. I have been keeping my mouth shut for quite some time. It's your turn.”
Lucius smiled. “It’s time to play… Potter. ” Lucius began walking backward, quickly turning on his heel, the other following.
‘Well, it seems our players are ready!’ It was then that every student began to let out their voices once and for all.
With all the players in position and on their brooms, the game between Gryffindor and Slytherin was ready to begin. When the loud bang of the singular firework reached the player's eardrums, players began to move.
The cheers were continuous. No student stopped their excitement as Slytherins and Griffydors zoomed past the stands, Barty followed Sirius who held the Quaffle attempting to pass it along to Frank. When Barty accelerated, bumping his stiff shoulder into the oldest Black’s shoulder. Sirius dropped the ball. Diving straight down to reach it once again, when Barty got his hands on it.
Barty was able to pass the ball along as he flew back the tall brown hoops. As Barty made his way to the hoops, Arthur pushed Sirius hard, and the noble Black’s grip on his broom loosened, making him almost fall off. The distraction allowed Barty to throw the Quaffle, William tried blocking but was inefficient as the ball allowed itself into the largest hoop.
‘ And there we have it! The very first points of the game go to Slytherin! It seems that our players have come to taste some royal Gryffindor blood’
Regulus on the other side of the field, allowed himself to get the Quaffle. He threw the ball passing it to Kingston, who had hit it with the tip of his broomstick. Which allowed Charles to fly in and get his hands on it.
He was fast on his broom, passing and dodging even attempted blocks. A Bludger ball hit him square in the back. Yet, the grip he had on the ball didn't loosen as it only tightened. He wasn't going to allow his team to fail, not now. Charles made his way to the hoops and once again scored for his team.
‘ And once again! Our fellow Slytherins have scored!’
It was only then that the Griffyndores began to get nervous. If the Slytherins were playing like this now. What was it going to be like when their new Seeker was to come out?
The game had reached the fifteen-minute mark, it was just in a couple of minutes that their savior, James Potter, was to come out and snatch the game from the cunning Slytherins.
It was getting close to that time. It was only around five minutes for their Savior James Potter to fly out and claim their victory.
Regulus flew fast on his broom. Once again holding the Quaffle the sound of a bat hitting a Bludger had caught his attention… He lowered his body, ducking as the hard ball flew right past his head. Only to crash into Sirius’ chest hard. Making his older brother fall off of his sturdy broom.
‘And it seems that our Savior Sirius Black has fallen off! Seemingly deceived by his youngest brother!’ The announcer's loud voice mocked Sirius.
Severus watched from the closed team room, his dark eyes peeking through a small opening. It was almost time for him to begin playing. He had two more minutes to calm his erratic nerves. It was his first-ever game and he was most definitely not ready to play. He kept thinking for some time when he finally heard it.
A small ‘Swoosh–’ sound passed by and right in front of him he saw the golden snitch on the other side of the wooden box he was stuck in for the next minute.
‘It is time! It is time for the real game to begin! Time for… The Golden Snitch!’ Roaring voices escaped the young teens all around. It was time. Severus made his way to the wooden door that was set to let the crow out soon enough. He mounted his dark broom. The glistening dark wood was grasped by his semi-gloved hand and elegant fingers.
Severus kept his eyes forward, his hair tied back and away from his face. The small sound of ticking blasted in his ear. He could barely hear his breathing as the ticking became more and more. Then a loud bell burst his bubble and he and his broom took off. The bright sun made his eyes sting.
He needed to focus. He needed to win this for his Lover. He remembered the plan, every step of the plan. Every move, the amount of speed he needed to take to go through with it. He was going to win.
Severus moved swiftly, him and his broom ascending to the sky fast and with precision. Players from both teams flew past him . Some attempt to block his movements but to no avail.
Severus allowed his broom to take the lead. The dark broom below him doing all the hard work. His hair moved in different directions as the air passed him. His eyes still sting but the feeling was ignored and forgotten. The bright sun burned his pale and gentle skin.
The repetitive sound of fast brooms sounded below him. Once he reached the exact spot he was meant to be in, he stopped, looking down at the passing players. Waves of dark green and blinding red met his eyes. However, it was not what he was looking for. His dark eyes were waiting to spot the glistening gold and flashing silver wings of the Golden Snitch. He could see the heavy dark spots of the balls being thrown.
The loud cheering was beginning to get to him. It was much too loud to concentrate on the goal. Yet, as he was starting to allow the irritation to get to him he spotted James Potter. The annoying nest he called hair caught his attention as he was chasing the snitch. Severus remembered the team's play. He whistled, gaining the attention of the Slytherins as he was instructed to in practice. The Snitch had fallen right into the trap the Slytherins had set.
The bright and polished gold ball was followed by the Seeker of the opposing team. He calculated the exact time and he began to move. His broom was pointed directly downwards, a straight line towards the healthy grass, but most importantly a straight line to the golden ball that was bound to be in his hands sooner or later.
The waves of red dashed past him attempting to knock him off his broom. His body was hit multiple times by strong shoulders, and his grip on his room only tightened as he tried not to fall off, a perfect balance between his broom and his strength was held. But soon came players coming at him with full speed, and a successful hit by Sirius Black knocked him off his broom. He could hear the old Black heir spit out a venomous, “No you don’t!”
As expected the Gryffindors did exactly what the Slytherins thought they would do. Severus didn't panic. His broom was left in the sky alone, falling feet away from him. A loud ‘Severus!’ was heard as Regulus jumped off his sturdy broom, his feet pushing his brown broom under Severus, allowing him to fly with it. Regulus grabbed his lover's broom in the air, getting on it himself. His eyes trained on the Snitch. The brown broom now began to follow the same pattern as Severus' old room. The tip of the broom makes a beeline for the golden snitch.
‘ And look at that! A perfect pass of the broom to Severus Snape by Regulus black. That is a perfect demonstration of teamwork. We could only wish that the Gryffindors had it too.’
He was feet above James, once he was close enough he was able to start following the snitch, his shoulders gracing James's sturdy ones. The dark-haired boy was able to speed up with James right behind him.
A whistle was heard. However, this time it didn't come from Severus’ lips. It was a signal, a signal for Severus, a signal that would guarantee them their win. He took a deep breath and allowed the broom to speed up once more he began to loosen his grip on the Broom.
It was then when he allowed his body to rise, his feet balancing on the broom, the high speed making it harder to accomplish. The hair tie that held his hair back seemed to loosen up and fly off his hair, his dark locks blowing away in the wind as the broom followed the golden snitch.
‘Look at this amazing display of balance from Severus Snape! It seems that he and his team have a plan up their sleeves! From the looks of it, the Slytherin team will be taking the win today.’
The cheering Severus had blocked out from his ears only became louder, making it harder for him to focus; however he persisted in getting his feet closer to the edge of the broom, he was so close.
Another deep breath made his way into Severus's lungs. He began counting down from ten, the numbers getting smaller and smaller once but when he reached zero he jumped.
His thin body fell into the air, his large hand extended out ready to grab the snitch. He wasn't close to the ground at all. He was many feet up, he fell landing on his back a sharp sting of pain cast through his bones.
His cold hands clenching the small ball of gold, he kept it close to his chest afraid that it might fly away.
The sea of Gryffindors in the stands stood there shocked, they were silent, they could not utter a single sound. Lily Evans stood next to Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew, her gentle hand covering her mouth, her eyes blown out in shock. She couldn't utter a word just like the other Gryffindors around her. Remus and Peter stood there in silence, Peter seemed to be shocked. However, Remus had an expression on his face no one could decipher.
‘And there we have it, the Slytherins have taken the win !’ The announcer said as Severus' hand flew up holding the golden snitch between his index finger and thumb. Loud cheers escaped from various mouths of the Slytherins. High-pitched cheers erupted from the Hufflepuffs. And finally loud and firm claps from Ravenclaw.
Severus was too tired to move from his spot. His eyes were opened looking up at the sky. He heard gentle footsteps hitting the grass and soon the view of his beloved appeared. A large bright smile displayed on his handsome face. “You did a great job out there my love,” Regulus whispered. His gray eyes looked at him with a little too much want. “Do I get a reward later?” Severus teased.
Regulus laughed, helping the older boy up from the grass.
Severus and Regulus made their way towards their team. Both of them got crushed by their weights as they hugged them screaming.
Soon their weights were taken off of the two. Snape was happy. He had caught the snitch and gained a win for the Slytherins. However, something was missing as he celebrated.
He looked at his lover in the eyes, the others noticing and backing away. Soon after he pulled Regulus in and placed his pale lips on the others . He kissed him passionately. They seemed to attract the attention of everyone, gasps filled with confusion and shock were heard.
James and Sirius watched, both of their hands clenching out in anger. They could take their eyes away from the pair of Slytherins. Their kiss was romantic and passionate. It was clear how strong their love for each other was.
The first to leave the field was James, Sirius following behind him.
Up in the stands Remus watched the show of instance affection that was on full display. His rough hands clench themself around the railing in front of him. His eyes pointed at Severus' head with an intensity he had never held before.
The stares towards and the talking about him was something Severus never liked, but as long as he had Regulus in his arms he was more than willing to tolerate them.
