Kageyama’s eyes widened, a flicker of surprise breaking through his usual calm demeanor. “What?”
Hinata swallowed hard, his emotions coming up to the surface. For two years he’d dreamt about what their reunion might look like. He dreamt of the million things he might say. He hadn’t meant to confront him like this, hadn’t planned on starting the conversation this way, but now that he had, he couldn’t stop. “You were in Brazil, Tobio. You were at the Olympics. We were in the same city, and you didn’t even text me. Not once. You didn’t come to see me, didn’t reach out, nothing. Why?”
