Sometimes the best course of action is to just not say anything and let people overthink what you say, or rather, what you don't. At least, that's what Stanford's mother always told him. What was he supposed to say anyway? It's the end of the world, the only people who can save him now are a couple of children and his deadbeat brother.
Ford's not typically the type to give up but being in the clutches of his demonic ex with the power to change reality as we know it; this seemed like a good time to just shut the fuck up and do nothing.
So as Bill rants and rants, he stays completely silent. He's not even fully listening until the triangle grabs him and shakes him. "WHY AREN'T YOU SAYING ANYTHING?!" Bill yells, to no response from Stanford. After some silence, the demon comes to a conclusion, "You're not Ford, you can't be" he continues, "MY Stanford always has something smart to say." A pause as Stanford rolls his eyes. "SAY SOMETHING SMART!!!!"
Ford opens his mouth, but decides against indulging him. Bill drops him to the ground. "I could kill you right now." He waits for a response but none comes, "I don't need you anymore. I could kill you. I should kill you." A minute passes as he waits for a response again. "Why won't you talk to me. I'm sorry about all this, it has to be done. I'm just making your world more fun. Why won't you talk to me?"
Bill falls silent and turns Ford back into gold. "I don't need you. I don't need anyone" he says as he picks up his trophy and leaves the room.
