Summary
It’s almost funny, how Ike can tug at Soren’s hair, tie him up, manhandle him into any position he likes, yet he draws the line at telling him anything remotely unkind. No matter how rough he gets, no matter how many marks and bruises he leaves on Soren’s body – at Soren’s own request, always – his words remain gentle.
Soren would rather die than disrespect any of Ike’s boundaries. That doesn’t mean he knows what to do with words that aren’t insults.
‘Ike,’ he gasps, sounding needy and breathless in a way that almost has him second-guessing if his throat is truly capable of producing such a sound. Then again, anyone else moaning Ike’s name like that has a rather short life expectancy, so it has to have come from him.
‘I’ve got you,’ Ike tells him, then moves so they’re not pressed together at every possible surface anymore.
Soren would have mourned the loss, but considering this means Ike no longer has to support himself and can grasp his hips with both hands instead, he accepts it as a fair trade-off.
‘I’ve got you, Soren.’
And he does.
He always does.
