The bite that followed was sharp and possessive, the pressure just on the edge of pain and it sent a wave of heat crashing through Shen Qiao. "Does my A-Qiao want to look pretty for his husband?"

    "... yes," Shen Qiao whispered. His voice was barely audible, almost drowned out by the crackling of the fire, but Yan Wushi caught it.

    Yan Wushi revealed a smile. "Yes what, A-Qiao?"
